- Nothing but the night, and the neighbor's garage light to see, but the Coyotes were on the property one house over, trying to sneak a small dog or chicken, for a late night snack...you can hear the coyotes, plus distant dogs howling, and the fat old dog next door, putting it's 2 cents worth in..in the start of the video, you can hear a person yelling "hey!" where the coyotes were...so enjoy the sounds of the night... Oh and, anyone want to take a nice, late night walk?

I just heard a bunch of Coyotes barking in my backyard so I came here to confirm if they were actually Coyotes 😂

Just heard these noises outside. A lot more yipping though. Sounded like they were in a bit of a frenzy. Had to hustle my chihuahua/jack russell into the house. He thought he was going to go after them. NOT.
I had to do the same last night lol I have a fenced area for my pet’s to go out in but still scared me to no end
Just heard this with the frenzy and more yipping. Crazy stuff. They all stopped at exactly the same time too.
This is actually one way they get food when they can't scavenge. They act angry to lure out animals, lead them away, and attack
They really know how to make a place feel remote.

I heard these similar howls like 2 hours ago, 2am. Not a single sound but coyotes all over the place howling. It’s eerie.
Just heard a single one out in the mountain. It was close, the echoing of the little cry after barking is definitely haunting. Flashed a light at it and it went away

Had a couple of these messing with the neighbors dogs about 3 am a few nights ago. Went outside and listened for awhile and that loud yippie noise is so tippy late night pitch black no more than 50 feet away. Every dog in the neighborhood goes bananas! They come through every week or so
I need advice on dealing with a mountain coyote. Stop Creepying around my Bedroom sliding glass door.

Every wild animal has a good nose, bleach is a strong scent, put a small cup of bleach outside to deture them, the smell of bleach is like a mule kick to the nose.
This one really got my dog going. He's doing the whisper woof routine while we're watching it.
camillekatrina My cats and dogs aren’t even phased by this video. That’s a little scary considering we have a few coyotes where I live on the east coast of Florida. (Beachside) Luckily my animals aren’t allowed outside unsupervised, and aren’t allowed outside at night at all without me walking them on a harness. Oddly, even though *everyone* in my community knows we have coyotes here, they still let their cats roam free at night. It seems like every week I hear about another cat who was either caught on someone’s surveillance camera being chased or killed by a coyote, or someone else says their cat is missing. I can’t wrap my head around people still letting their pet cats (and sometimes even small dogs) outside at night without a leash / harness on. 🤯
I hear that right outside my apartment complex.. My neighbors let their animals out at night and her cat went missing 2 nights ago. The coyotes sounded like they were fighting over something that night to.. Crazy and sad.. Gotta love wildlife.

I'm in washington state. hear these all the time right outside my balcony. makes me glad my little ones are inside kitties. i have a friend that lost 2 chihuahuas to coyotes. :(

I just heard a few tonight. The sirens from a firetruck had them going crazy. lol I've never heard anything like it.
That sound lasted a lot longer then the Coyotes we get.

It's 1am here and just heard them sound exactly like this. They were in the distant so initially I thought they were just neighborhood strays or some sirens lol

Me and my friends were like 19 all sitting and drinking by a dam where's there's a remote area at night and heard this and we all got up and got the hell out of there like scarey cats lmao
I attempted hammock camping and out of the blue this started up like 100 yards from the campground, I grabbed my stuff and booked it into the truck
My buddy and i heard this with a mixture of growling and high pitches squeeling for about 2 or 3 minutes one night while we were at his farm. Were pretty sure either one of the pack got out of line in some way and the rest kill it or another type of animal entirely was being killed by the pack of coyotes. It was intense, him and i just stood there staring at one another. Then last night while i was hammock camping i got woken up to this sound twice.
People can say what they want but I have livestock and one of my goats got stuck in the fence and they made short work of her. With no natural predators to manage the population I’ve began hunting them. It’s amazing how intelligent these animals are and my best luck is to trap and relocate to the pins. It’s all fun and games and don’t hurt them until they start taking your lively hood or pets or even kids. So remember that some don’t kill for fun or sport. Some people have to protect what little they have left in this epidemic

We're camping in the Eastern Sierras and I just finished hearing the same exact sounds outside wasn't sure at first if it was a dog but after listening for awhile it was clear that it wasn't.

I did something wild today; I went to a museum. Heard the sound of coyotes. Freaking uncanny, wild and beautiful all at once. I tried to find the same on RUclips. Did not find it. This is what remotely resembles it the most.
Coy’s have been really close to my yard. Came to verify if it was them cause they scared the bejeebers outta me last night.
I remember 1 time it was about 3 am and my dog was in the back and she started barking and a whole pack of yotes were right behind the fence yelping for about 10 minutes
Just heard a coyote outside! Shocked as I lived here 3 years an only the first time hearing them! With the dozens of rabbits and groundhogs here u would expect to hear em all the time
I have coyotes around my area and it’s kind of a city but I remember walking my dog and I heard almost the exact same coyotes barking for the first time by the hydro field where I usually walk by for years and it scared the crap out of me, had to ran home.. Luckily my dog and I are safe
Great White yeah but you never know. I heard some people say coyotes can switch from being scared to aggressive out of no where. Coyotes have attacked people or animals but on a rare occasions.

I heard this sound in my backyard last night. This video confirmed my suspicions. My wife thought that it was a bird or an owl, I told her that was no bird, that it was a coyote. There was no F-ing way I was going outside to look.

You need to watch I Was Prey. Man was attacked by a pack when his car broke down a couple miles from his work. Hw survived because he didn't let them pull him to the ground. My ex husband survived an attack when he was a teen by climbing and staying in a tree. I'm sure it doesn't happen often but it does happen. Probably depends on the pack size and the prey they think they have a chance of taking down.

I heard a bark and a scream and was told it was coyotes the bark at the beginning sounded like what i heard just farther away.

my cat got eaten by a coyote last night and I found him this morning. just heard these sounds tonight so ik it was a coyote. my other two cats are def not going outside for awhile now. gonna miss my poor kitty

I played this video and my sisters a while back and her Rottweiler and my dog a border collie mix both freaked out and started barking all scary! Especially the rottweiler! She was ready to kill something, running around the house looking for danger
I’m hearing something like this but it’s more squeaky like less howling. Almost like seagulls or something EDIT: sounds like in between the seagull chirp and the coyote sounds.
Could be a fox, they make a wide range of sounds.

They will attack even if you are with your dog on leash. That is how they took my baby from us when he was just being taken out to pee. Never ever off leash. 😢

A coyote who does not run away when encountering humans has, most likely, become accustomed or habituated to people. Meaning, people have fed them or they have found dog food outside. Coyotes attacking people are rare. Most attacks on people are due to them feeding the animal.
You definitely want to be aware of your dogs though. Coyotes are nocturnal, so they hunt at night. If you are letting your dogs outside at night and you have known coyotes in the area, you want to be out there with them.

My dog was killed with a leash on and my mom RIGHT there. A pack took him. He was a small dog. It can still happen.
