@@frankthecat1660the investing group has extremely deep pockets. They can afford to throw money at any issue. The park will open. Know will they see a return on investment. Probably not. But they’re being funded by the Saudi public investment fund. They have a total investing power of 776 billion usd… epic universe is estimated to cost around 3-4 billion for comparison.

My only questions is if a 400-499ft tall roller coaster is Strata and now a 600-699ft is an Exa, what would 500-599ft be called?

What's odd is it doesn't say that much of a drop. They said it was that much a difference between it's highest point and lowest point. It is also using some insane terrain to help get that. The other issue at play here is what about a break down in an area of insane terrain... or at 500 ft... or whatever... not sure we will ever see anything like this in the US.

I wonder the reason why Cedar Point went with Zamperla for Top thrill 2 is because Intamin is already spreading itself thin with Falcons Flight on the horizon (there biggest project to date) requiring ALOT of resources. Just from a project management standpoint idk how a company could manage tackling not one but two massive projects in the same year and not probably ask for more money and more time which Cedar Point simply does not have at the moment.

Tbh there all the same company now so it doesn’t even matter who’s is competing or who is manufacturer is now since now it all Six flags and they pretty much can do whatever they want with no consequences

@@lanceflx63whether or not they figure it out is irrelevant. Maybe they notice that my husband and I have the same last name. Maybe I slip up, call him “honey,” and the wrong person hears. Yes, hypothetically I could get away with it, but I could also hypothetically get away with robbing a bank. I’ve already spent more than half my life in the closet. Why would I go back in for a roller coaster?
Even if they don’t find out about me, that still doesn’t change things for people like me who live there. Their lives are still at risk, and they don’t have the luxury of being a visitor. What does that say of the body of work of Jamal Khashoggi, who was killed by the Saudi crown for criticizing them? What does that say about how I view an entire people who live under the thumb of an absolute monarchy?
Look, I know I’m being a MASSIVE bummer right now. I don’t think you, or anyone for that matter, comes to the ACE channel to have a robust discussion on human rights, and I want more than anything to not have to have this conversation. However, these issues are the reason this frankly absurd project was funded in the first place. They are betting that you will focus on the World Cup in Qatar, or the biggest, tallest, fastest coaster ever built and not talk about the heinous acts the Saudi government has been responsible for. By not bringing these things up when they throw these shiny things at us, they get exactly what they want. I hope that by calling some of this out, maybe others will see this project for what it really is.
