Best coverage of IAAPA there is. I love how comprehensive, yet concise this video is. Thank you for putting in the work to summarize everything for those of us who couldnt be there. Much appreciated.
What you smoking buddy? What help are the Saudi going to need to fund absolutely anything?! 😂😂 your off your Tits.. they can literally do anything involved with financials

I gotta say IAAPA this year was something else truly the best, I can't wait to see what will 2025 IAAPA will bring, fantastic coverage of IAAPA this year.
It’s honestly crazy how much the industry has changed over the last year, it’s actually a bit overwhelming but in the end I’m sure it will be amazing. I was going to go to America in 2020 but we all know what happened, so I never got to ride the original dragster, but oh well at least it won’t break down and there hopefully won’t be any more incidents. I already have plans to go to Saudi Arabia for Falcons Flight, it looks nuts! And thank you for the super entertaining and informative video:)
If I could, I would love to fly to Orlando and visit a IAAPA expo. Of course, November is a planning month for my parents since we plan out and save money for upcoming Christmas vacations. Actually, my dad confirmed we're going to Orlando and stay at a resort near Walt Disney World and we're going to visit one of the 4 parks there next year! :)
Unless you're a professional in the field/VIP, unfortunately, you'd be turned away. Even though there would likely be an interest in the public to try all of the functioning flat rides, my guess is that they want to keep the crowds low, and the prototype machines pristine. It'd still be nice if they held public events too.
Chance rides has been knocking it out of the park with the train designs for Mattel adventure park. I bet bone shaker and twin mill racer are going to be 2024’s sleeper hits.
as a gay coaster enthusiast I really appreciate the effort you've put into distancing yourself from the Saudi regime. It would be really easy for your to ignore their human rights abuses like a lot of Western media does. Your work is very much appreciated 😊
I disagree. U can say getting political but the investments themselves are being made for specific geopolitical gain (along with tourism) 🤣 just sayin… it’s a “washing” practice really (like sportswashing etc)
@@daquandavis5498I agree with you, the park is directly funded by the Saudi government and it's definitely for geopolitical gain to have that type of world record for a rollercoaster. As impressive as it is, I would never visit a country with the type policies that Saudi Arabia has. The disclaimer is very important, because it's common for influencers to receive paid endorsements from middle eastern government bodies in exchange for making a video hyping it up.
@@ahyes589 I think projects like these are good in the long run for improving their policies - they want people coming to their country, and being more lenient for tourists is a good first step in being more lenient for their citizens.
I wish i could visit IAAPA, This coverage was by far the best ive seen, from the little details that you pointed out, to the most obvious improvements. These companies are lining the amusement industry to a great success in the near future.
18:40 they don't really have any official name on that car, but I guess it could be called a Twin-supercharged W16 (aka 2 supercharged V8s mounted side by side) whether it's considered dual V8s or a W16 depends on whether or not they share a block, which they don't appear to, so it's actually just dual supercharged V8s
I need to patent a small bus with tank treads so when Falcon's Flight breaks down a mile from loading the technicians can go collect the riders. 😂 "Remain seated please. Park employees will be here to assist you in...45 minutes.". 😅😅😅
I couldn’t wait to see the new trains for TT2. When i saw them, These looked like the type of trains that don’t staple you into your seat. I have to give it a shot when it opens!
I just hope Falcons Flight is gonna be reliable, Batman at Parque Warner likes to break down due to overheating LSM's, and Falcons Flight is in the middle of a scorching desert going three times the speed!!
I like that fire in the hole was refreshed i like when older rides get a second life so future generations can enjoy them. Sponge bob for vegas was a bit of a wild card for me is Vegas targeting familys again

IAAPA is manufacturers, demonstrators, content creators only. If you’re not any of that, don’t bother buying a ticket. It’s like NAMM: the National Association of Music Merchants, where if you’re not a manufacturer, demonstrator, or content creator, or musician, don’t bother buying a ticket.
16:59 In case you didn’t know, I checked their website and what we know as a Poler Coaster is featured on there too. There’s a chance it could be purchased! They market it as being between the heights of 200 and 1000 feet, so maybe we could see a smaller version go to some park we’ve never heard of. Who knows? It’s unlikely but the model exists on their site.
I love that premier rides is going for the refurbishment of the Arrow coaster. I hope they'll slowly move around parks and keep them alive and better rides overall. 🤞
After riding the Loch Ness revamp... It's great. Go ride it. I love that they kept the classic layout. No headbanging. No pain. And a few new surprises too

Wonder which coaster Dollywood purchased? The president said in an interview a few days ago they purchased one during 2023 IAAPA and it will be opening in 2026!
I really need to go to IAAPA again. I went years ago when I worked in the industry, thankfully for free…I understand the need to limit the number of general public attending but dang, it was so much fun lol.
The new SpongeBob's Crazy Carnival dark Ride is a complete rip-off of Toy Story Midway Mania but I don't care I love the idea either way. It's best to steal for the best.
The polar coaster is just standard furnishing at IAAPA at this point. It's like that weird statue your grandpa got on safari 40 years ago, looming in the corner of the family room.
Not sure if the new flatrides from Fabbri are a good Idea. We had the new Pandora ride around our fairs, but not even for a full year. The showman sold it back to Fabbri since the ride was never really successful, it was kinda boring and loaded with technical problems. It stood closed around more than it was open. As a HUSS enthusiasts I am not really a fan of the new designs. Not gonna lie. Might fit Sci-Fi themes, but on the fairs and in normal amusement parks it will look out of place. I still think the Wild Moose is more a new version of a Wildcat instead of a Wild Mouse. I never saw a Wild Mouse in that coaster.
The standing motion simulator ride one just seems like a bad idea. Like for one, you can see somebody just completely losing balance and falling. And two why would I want to stand in line for a ride I'm going to stand on. The ride is supposed to be the break for my legs lol
I understand your feelings regarding the new attractions heading to Saudi Arabia, especially considering the country's stance on LGBTQ+ rights. It's important to note that these mega-projects in Saudi Arabia are part of their Vision 2030 initiative. This initiative is a strategic framework aimed at diversifying the Saudi economy beyond oil production by developing various sectors, including tourism. Hence, the significant investment in these technically groundbreaking attractions. One of the main reasons Falcon's Flight is possible is because of the unique terrain that provides a cliff to build on and large, open spaces unrestricted by environmental or zoning laws. The scale and funding of these projects are indeed unique and not typically seen in other countries, primarily due to the specific economic and political context of Saudi Arabia. Most countries do not have the same level of government resources allocated for such ambitious projects. However, it's also worth mentioning that there are exciting attractions and developments happening around the world. While many might not match the scale of Saudi Arabia's projects, they are significant in their own right. Theme parks globally continue to innovate and create experiences that are both inclusive and thrilling. These developments, although different, contribute to the diverse history of the amusement industry. This is why I chose to highlight the achievements of the manufacturers making these rides; what they learn from building them can be applied to attractions around the world. It's a complex situation, and your feelings are entirely valid. As enthusiasts, we can appreciate the technological and creative advancements in theme parks while also being mindful of the broader societal and ethical contexts in which they exist.
Can't wait for this to be another Dubai money sink like the world islands and just about everything else they try to do. Amusement park is about your best bet though.
