Great information and video. Doing our first time Royal Caribbean [Odyssey] to the Greek Isles in 2025. Question. What's up with all the 'reserved' tables at most of the food/bar venues you showed. I didnt see on the Royal website on how to request any. Am I missing something? Any insight is appreciated.
I gotta admit the seaplex in the ship is definitely my fav area. I’ve went there a lot of times during the day and night. Like for example during the day I went in with my brother and played Table tennis while watching Premier League(Soccer)on the big screen. the game that I was watching was Arsenal v Burnley. Arsenal is the team I follow, my bro however follows the other reds(Man-U) while playing I saw Arsenal got a Free Kick so I said to him after I scored the point in table tennis “Imma watch this free Kick then we’ll get back to playing.” I saw the kick go and I said “That’s a Good kick-IT WENT IN 1-0 ARSENAL.”after we played, we came back few hours later for some bumper cars and one more time at night for laser tag. Overall fun ship and I suggest everyone that goes on odyssey of the seas goes there at some point.
Just got off my 3rd cruise with Royal in harmony 2 weeks ago (march 11th-18th) and already have a cruise booked for March 10-16th 2024 onboard odyssey and I’m definitely looking forward to that cruise
I'm fascinated with Odyssey, I've never been on the ship However I've been on most classes of royal ship, my least favorite is the Quantum Class, Anthem is a great ship in a lot of ways but just seemed like there was so much empty space, long empty hallways, a lot of under utilization of a big ship is how I would describe it, plus I hated the 4 dining rooms. It really detracted from some of the best aspects of the ship like the solarium. Odyssey fixes every complaint I had about anthems interior, I love what they've done with the via! This ship really feels like a Royal Caribbean ship and I'm hopeful royal will continue to head in this direction on future ships and leave the first generation Quantum Class ships behind. Maybe some day they can receive an extensive Amplification to bring them up to royal caribbean standards

Going on odyssey for a 14 day transatlantic in April! Super excited to experience the ship as this will be my first time on Royal, I’ve done Disney and carnival and I’ve heard great things about Royal so I’m super excited!
I booked on Odyssey for late next year. Sad to say the Solarium Bistro is considered specialty dinning now. It’s all a carte pricing. No menu provided, so no clue how expensive. Does appear the dining package covers with the $35 credit.

If u want to have alone time with ur significant other and u have kids there are plenty of activities that ur kid can do and there is no dangers on the ship. U can let ur teens,kids alone wondering around the boat. It is AMAZING!!
I was on the spectrum the year it started sailing. The only issue I had is that both quantum and quantum ultra ships don't have the perfect storm waterslides, or even the riptide. I have no clue why they didn't put waterslides on these quantum class ships. Sir Danny, do you have any clue why they didn't?
Thanks for the video - I enjoy the higher production value compared to some of the other (selfie stick) cruise channels on RUclips. As someone who has access to both the Diamond and Suite Concierge lounge, which do you prefer? The Suite lounge seems much bigger. I assume the concierges are equally capable. What about the food and cocktails?

Like Nike says, Just Do It. I have had car vacations, air vacations, and resorts. Cruising is the best. Different places, but only 1 unpacking. Use a good cruise travel agent and they will make it memorable. We booked a cruise with my daughter's family, 3 of them 2 of us. We invited my son-in-laws parents, their travel agent recommended reserving a table for all of us for dinner. It made it better. Little things like that help. We decided to book a Panama Canal cruise and the agent said we should get a balcony because you want to sit and look at the locks as you transit and the deck chairs are always taken by 6am.
Love watching Royal Caribbean cruise ships full walkthrough but missing the central park which is usually the unique place in a Royal Caribbean cruise ship.
I will check this out soon. My issue with rci is that they don't have much free dining. Almost everything is an upcharge. Great ship but I don't want to pay extra for simple foods.

Slides are mostly on the Oasis class ships. They don't match the theme on this ship which is more for older teens and up.

Did they get rid of the balcony at the back of Windjammer (like on Anthem OTS)? It was my favorite breakfast spot :(
They did unfortunately get rid of that space in order to have more room inside the Windjammer, and a larger deck above behind the Flowrider.
I don’t get why the deck chairs and day beds face each other. Shouldn’t they be facing the pool or Ocean?
You can turn them around, but often times people that head to the upper deck are looking for a slightly quieter atmosphere with the ocean breezes.

How long did it take to disembark once you arrived on the final cruise day?
We waited a little longer until most of the passengers were off to disembark so that we could go straight through. We were off in about 20 minutes.
