man this is greatttttttttttttttttt!!!!!! it's unbelievable you covered almost all of the sources from the original one. The thing is that horn(is it right? the instrument that appear in 0:09 at first time..) sound is lil too loud and bass sound is also lil bit loud, so the part you remade and the part from original song (hook) don't fit perfectly... But still its so GREAT thanks man
Great job but i think the flute sample needs a boost in the higher frequencies because it sounds doesnt sound as bright as j coles version.I think that would perfect it
Ayo u did a good job putting this joint together....this is my favorite cut off the album. Like the other dude said....the only thing missing is the bass that comes in around 0:10. Asides from that....u killed it homie.
Hey man, you probably won't see this but I'd like to say thanks. Seriously, God bless and if you're not faithful then I hope you do good man! Must be very talented
@scoop2193 I saw a video on here where he did that to make "Hold it Down" for "The Warm Up". So I wouldn't put it past him. But again....good job homie.
Ayy could you just send me the instrumental please cuz all that downloading stuff isnt working. Thanks man. And great job on the beat. Cant wait to hear it with the bass included
Good job man.i think Cole chopped/re-keyed samples better than most of your 9th wonder beats, but still can't compare to Primo beats.I personally like to take a 4-8 bar loop and time stretch to proper BPM (i.e: 2 bar at 96bpm is 5 seconds)...then i chop it into 16 equal notes..or 12 for the off-pattern hits..then go from there..I don't trust how FL studio automatically gets timing with one click....Select "PRO AMBIENT" stretching for every sample instead of "RESAMPLE" to keep pitch...Nice work
Look, I just shed tears homie and now I ain't too proud to admit it Just seen my father for the first time in a minute And when I say a minute I mean years man Damn, a whale could have swam in them tears fam 'Cause as I left them I reflected on my younger days When it was just me and my brother and my mother played Father, 'cause no other man bothered Not even my biological, it never seemed logical But I accepted it 'cause I ain't know no better Thought I was brighter than a Polo sweater No pops was like Martin with no Coretta So many things you could have told me And saved me the trouble of lettin' my mistakes show me I feel like you barely know me And that's a shame 'cause our last name is the same That blood type flowin' through our veins is the same My mama left you and maybe your anger's to blame But that's no excuse, only you and God know the truth And why you only call monthly, barely ever saw me Spend some summers with you and played with my cousin Maury Maybe I should be tellin' you fuck you 'cause you selfish But I want a father so bad, I can't help But break down, I break down Can't help but break down I break down I never thought I'd see my mama on that shit man It's fuckin' with her body, now she sick damn I wanted a big house with the white picket fence and a pool Who would have ever thought that it would come to this, man?
