personally, despite what everyone thinks, i really dont think mike will be a secret boss in chapter 3, but rather the main villain of the chapter (similar to king and queen) why? the two secret characters so far are personifications of things that you would normally discard, completely forget about, or are problems. for example, jevil being the joker card, which is normally discarded in a round of solitare, etc. and spamton, well, spamton is self-explanatory, but i dont think a tv channel is something you would normally have a large problem with. second, the only reason we know about mike is because spamton periodically mentions him, which is not usually something that comes from a secret character (hence why they are "secret") third, from what we know so far, the main villain in the next chapter is usually announced by the secret boss (jevil announcing queen's return, and, if our calculations are correct, spamton warning kris about mike) fourth, if this interpretation of mike is based on the entire primary function of television, a channel, then i think its safe to say he'll be the core antagonist of the next chapter, not some random side character. ok thank you for listening to my tedtalk, if i am proven wrong when the next chapters release, i will edit this (if i remember to) Edit: yes I saw the leaks. yes I saw the charity stream, and yes I still stand by my point. if mike isn't the main head guy in chapter 3, what's with the doors being vaguely shaped like an M? that's not mettaton, he's not popular in DR like he is in UT. on the topic of tenna, spamton mentions mike more than tenna, similarly to how jevil mentions queen post-fight everytime spamton mentions mike, he gets depressed (e.g., in his shop) him mentioning mike while in neo form doesn't count because he explodes 12 seconds after that because of this, while spamton was ranting about the "boob tube", he gets depressed shortly after that, as if he promised to get revenge on someone yet still feels for that someone. when spamton calls out the cathode crew for not knowing about mike, it made me think: what if mike is keeping secrets from his own crew? spamton knows more about mike than anyone else does, and because of that Mike's fans also went after spamton? and what about this tenna character that spamton so dearly hates? I see 4 possible things -tenna is the fill-in for the "bad guy turned good guy", similarly to Berdly and Lancer that both Spamton and Mike hate think back to Lancer and Berdly, they're both characters detested by their own mentors, King regularly abuses Lancer, and Queen finds Berdly to be annoying, so why not this case with Tenna? -they are the "quirky npc character" similar to Seam, Swatch and to an extent, Rouxls. -Mike actually tricked Spamton into thinking he's his friend, while using Tenna, an alias for Mike to torment Spamton. This would make sense considering the Addisons describe spamton rising to fame through an unknown helper on the phone, who then disappeared and knocked Spamton down, this could mean that mike was pretending to be on Spamtons side before switching to his alias, Tenna, then tormenting him through garbage noise, this caused Spamton to want revenge on Tenna and to help Mike, unaware that they are the same person Tenna is an unknown entity that hijacked Mike and caused him to become malevolent, and the lightners had the duty of driving Tenna out of Mike bestowed to by Spamton, similarly to a broadcast hijacker, but then again a broadcast hijacker also has a possibility to become a secret boss. But think about this for a second. The antennae are what give the TV a live signal, depending on the type of antennae anyway. this could be the case between the connection with Mike and Tenna -mike hawk- thank you for listening to part 2 of my tedtalk update: so I just looked up the definition of "boob tube", and interestingly enough a boob tube is a device that projects onto screens by receiving live signals, much like an antenna. therefore if Spamton is referring to Tenna as the "boob tube", then Tenna cannot be the TV either, but rather Mike instead. Tenna could be Mike's assistant but then went rogue or like such. but considering how spamton could've meant the term "boob tube" literally, that kind of disconfirms the Tenna TV theory, no?
I think mike will be the main villain, but instead of mike being the secret boss, I think it will be a sentient TV remote to as a way to symbolize Kris not having control over their own actions.
though I don't particularly like the design of mike here (the smile going off the screen, the giant eyes being held up by those tiny little things, which just feel too long anyway) the music, battle and personality are great, 8/10, 99.2% sure it'll be nothing like the actual chapter 3 secret boss.

the design looks nice to me because he looks like a funny snail. It is true it doesnt look like they wouldnt stay together, there is even an attack based on that, not to mention that he`s all over the floor when you beat him
