Enjoying your channel. Subscribed today and all caught up! Impressed your videos are real time, the trail as it is and your openness. Information on cost of hotels, laundry is informative. Please continue that. One request! As we can see the weather can you share temps? You are in shorts and see some flowers blooming but curious of the day snd night temperatures. Would appreciate it! Looking forward to your adventure and sun will appear! Patience is not our best feature but the rewards are worth it for sure! Thank you for sharing with us!

Thank you so much! I should be sharing temps - that is a great suggestion! I always hike in shorts so that’s not the best indication 🤣. But it has been unseasonably warm. Today was low 60’s and nights have only gotten down to high 40’s low 50’s. I’ve got today (day 6) completed and scheduled for tomorrow am release. But starting (tomorrow) day 7 I’ll try to include more temp/weather info.

Really enjoying the vids. Subscribed a few days ago. I hiked the AT in 2017 and I’m going for my second thruhike starting mid April. You are doing great! Save some trail for me. -Matador

When I was going towards Unicoi Gap it was pouring rain and I was swimming up the Appalachian Stream. 😂 Looks nice in your video. Stay on the path! Monk

Thank you! We’re expecting rain starting late tomorrow and continuing for a few days so I’m sure I’ll be slogging in the AT stream soon 🤣

I'm super excited to watch your hike because I'm from Kings Mountain. I see you quit work to hike, do you plan on going back after the hike? I wish my husband's work would allow him to take a leave. We section hike. I love seeing places we camped. We are looking forward to seeing you finish!
    Hike on!

How long do you expect this journey to take and how many miles are you hiking? Looks like an awesome adventure. Be safe and enjoy.

Hey Roger, I’m hoping to complete the entire 2,198 mile trail in a little over 5 months. 👍

Was going to go back and watch all your videos until you mentioned slackpacking. I think this is a dis-service the hostel operators put out there just to make more money.

The good thing is there are tons of hikers vlogging their hike. So if my videos don’t appeal to you there are tons of other options available to watch! Happy hiking.
