    Just passed my CCRN today. I wish I would have discovered your videos sooner! You do a great job explaining why the answer is correct and why the others are wrong. The extra information you gave solidified any questions I had!
    I strongly believe your videos lead the my success! Thanks again.

    ALRIGHT!!! Add another RN subscriber to the PASSED list!!! The updated exam for 2024 was HARD! But waiting for the calculation of your exam and then seeing those words "PASS" ss your heart is pounding out of your chest at the end was worth it!! Thank you because you made topics that I was struggling with very simple. My hardest subject was Cardiac and that was my second highest scoring!
    Now, on the the Trauma Cert!!! THANK YOU!!!

    Passed today thanks to you Nurse Jenny! Even with an entire HOUR of my time lost when the internet went out at the testing center but somehow my time clock kept ticking! All I got when it came back up and saw that the hour had still been taken from my time was "do the best you can." Talk about stressed out 😂

    Happy to add myself to the list of people that passed! I owe my passing in big part to your content because up until I discovered your channel a couple weeks ago, I could not wrap my head around hemodynamic numbers and MI/EKG interpretation. Your explanations of all the content is so easy to digest and your tricks to remember things stuck in my head during the test, many of your practice questions were the same as ones I did in barrons book and AACN question bank so it’s good quality practice too! Thank you so much for your knowledge nurse Jenny!!

      Also wanted to add, cardiac was my best category and I only missed 3 questions there, which I didn’t think would’ve been possible before watching your videos!

    Passed the CCRN thanks to your videos. Going to upload and CMC of CMS videos? There's a dearth of videos on those subcertifications. Would be very helpful!!!! Haha

      I will say there isn’t much study materials. Supposedly there are study courses that are expensive. Books that are inadequate. I’m thinking of reviewing your videos and just doing ANCC questions on their website. There is a big section on cardiac surgery, which is funny because there’s separate certification for that. I may buy a book on that so I have some prep for it.

    I have found many resources that say that a VSR would cause a falsely high SVO2 but a low CO because blood is shunted away from the Aorta.

      A PA catheter measures cardiac output of the right ventricle and initially, it will be falsely elevated due to the extra backflow of blood into the RV. Ultimately, the cardiac output will decrease as the patient decompensates. I hope that helps!

    Hello, thank you for the videos. Can I use these videos to study for the PCCN exam ?

    • @NurseLifeAcademy
      @NurseLifeAcademy  2 месяца назад

      You can use these questions for the PCCN exam, however, there will be some things that I cover which wouldn't be on the PCCN as it pertains only to critical care. But most of the information is applicable!

    I feel like the first question would have to be decreased cardiac output since the blood is shunting to the right side of the heart, so CO would decreased in that left ventricle, no? I dont understand how we would get a false increase in CO
