Treyarch lost it's touch. This masterpiece of a game compared to BO4 is like night and day.
It still Black Ops just without campaign, literally all Black Ops series are still Black Ops, if you like this campaign then you must know that they must repeat it in different way or everyone will hate it

I didn't touch BO4. Absolutely disgraceful how they scrapped the campaign for battle royale. I don't care what percent of the CoD community plays the campaign. Campaigns give these games a lot more depth and character. Ever since, Warzone has been limiting the success of all other modes and it's a shame.
IMO bo1 is the only good black ops bo2 is just overrated asf campaign is went of track of what “black ops” is with menendez and all that 2025 but it’s still tolerable and bo3 was all jet packs bo4 was cod with a overwatch crossover and Cold War was just bad and rushed after bo2 everyone just bought treyarchs games cause they had the name black ops on it

This exact location where Hudson and weaver have a shootout in the intel station is in cod Cold War. Its cool how they added it into the newest black ops game.

@@ps2_js_crshed technically Bo2 has 2 timelines so if I was you I'd let people know that you are talking about the Alex Mason part of BO2 so people don't get confused because honestly I was confused at first thinking BO2 takes place in 2025 but then I remember you play as Alex Mason as well
@@alexmason2659 Yeah, gonna nerd out here and make it clear that it's not accurate to consider BO2 one certain time, as it took place in the past and future. The first mission, "Pyrrhic Victory," took place in the 80's, about 15-20 years after the events of BO1, as the earlier comment stated. But then again this game overall was more based on the future than the past

WMD mission was probably my favorite mission in BO1. You clearly felt the Black Operation behind enemy lines.
Exactly my reason for loving this mission, I also love the level design and how it feels like an RTS in the first part of the level
This is the most creative mission there is. The cold war was so much more exciting than anything else
And wasn't too tragic, so we can make more jokes about it.

Black Ops 1 is one of the few games where i love every mission equally. I just don't have a favorite because they're all so good. Still waiting for that remaster

Black ops 1 was legendary. when call of duty was at its peak.
It's a nice detail that Weaver uses some of the same moves as the Spetsnaz troopers, to remind you he was trained by the Soviet army.

World War 3 probably didn't happen in Black Ops' timeline since Dragovich destroyed any evidence he could that the Soviets were involved with Nova 6. The avalanche buried the complex in the Ural Mountains, on Rebirth Island, he rounded up the scientists of Project Nova (probably to be killed or imprisoned), he successfully killed Dr. Clarke in China, then he buried Kravchenko's logs keeping track of Project Nova's process in the one rat tunnel in Vietnam. The only pieces he missed were the dossier in the MACV building and especially Alex Mason, who remembered the Rusalka in Cuba.
The CIA and KGB are very good at their jobs and found a way to cover it up
Now we have proof that the MW and BO universes are somehow connected, so WW3 did happen WAY later on.

@@physical_insanity mt yamantau is closer to europe than alaska. i think that the us would launch the sr71 from turkey or europe.
the max speed is around 3000mph. from turkey to mount yamantau the distance is around 1600 miles. so the sr71 could fly from turkey to yamantau in around half an hour.
Fuckin' hell that's high. When is a aircraft like that gonna be able to reach the space? Imagine, *dogfights in space!*

I think at this point Yamantau is going to be a main focal point in Black Ops Cold War campaign, possibly even a MP map if not mistaken BO1 had a map based in Yamantau Mountains
Actually 4 default Yamamtau maps (Array, WMD, Grid, and Summit) and 1 DLC one (Stockpile).

0:43 Huge mistake as every mission starts with a closeup of the character you'll play at the level but in WMD you start the game as an air force pilot (Cpt. Mosely), not as Hudson.
There is a picture of him in the intro cutscene, you have to look closely.

I want them to make the next cod game something like this where you have 4 members of a team and you do these covert ops through the campaign. they could make it so you can play single player, but also have up to 3 freinds play co-op with you, and every member is they're own character for the story so it doesn't matter if you have all 4 players or not
