- Atlanta rapper Young Thug, born Jeffery Williams, faces multiple charges under Georgia's RICO Act. Williams, believed to be the leader of the YSL collective, supposedly operated a "criminal street gang" from outside his residence. Williams faces eight charges in a 65-count indictment. These charges include drug possession, possession with intent to distribute, and participating in criminal gang activity as an individual employed by a criminal street gang. Opening statements will take place on November 27.

How the judge allowed her to bring up a witness to a carjacking who has no idea who committed the crime. She’s just gathering crimes and the judge is allowing it. The judge should be removed immediately

@@tyral246 are you sure? This should be streamlined. They are trying and the judge is allowing them to bolster a weak RICO with tons of irrelevant information. Either the jury is going to say I've heard so much they mist be guilty ( this is what the prosecution hopes) or the jury will say I've heard so much I have no idea what's going on. These are crimes, yes, but RICO shouldn't be uses like this just to give ppl more time. Ppl really believe that the petty amount of drugs being sold helped bolster a multi-million dollar rapper's YSL? It makes no sense.
I hope Mr. Steele (and others) file all kinds of complaints against this judge. There's no reason whatsoever for him to speak to Mr. Steele (in particular) in the demeaning, belittling manner in which he chooses to speak (not to mention Mr. Steele literally couldn't be any more polite or respectful than he is as he calls him "the honorable judge"....etc). The judge literally chastises the guy like he's a child....yet Brian Steele is a multi millionaire lawyer who happens to be the most successful defense attorney in the entire state of Ga! This judge just seems to snap for no reason at all. This is what is known as a "power trip".
From the very beginning they requested a mistrial and the judge denied it knowing the prosecution was wrong in so many ways when it came to opening statements and the PowerPoint presentation. She never sent the defense team what they all had to share among each other PRIOR to opening statements

Yep. They have a 98 conviction percentage.. they didn’t have enough or they would’ve 100% charged them all.. it’s pretty ridiculous how bad this case is. Any juror with a good head on their shoulders sees how bias this judge is. This trial should’ve been tossed out multiple times due to all type of mistakes by the prosecution.

I think it is absolutely bad… the way he gives the prosecutor total and upmost respect and when it comes to the defense team he seems to have a prejudice against them

Judge Granville from the start of this Rico has been hostile, bias and disrespectful towards the defense side especially to Mr. Sharp who called him out and expose the oblivious nonsense, slick things the state did, submitted and suggested and the judge indidvidual attitude and responses to questions, actions and motions of the defense counsels.

In my opinion and I watch the trial everyday, the state has no case for RICO against any of them. Now because they know they the state are losing the trial this far, now they want to punish the witness they gave a plea deal to because they don't like his answers. This trial is based on convicting these men on past convictions that they have already pled guilty to and served time for. It's a shame.

Do you think someone has a gun and forces the user to buy drugs? Just because there is something offered or available doesn't mean I have to use or buy it. All honesty she really isn't a likeable person, I am not sure how she is coming across in the actual court room...
