Metso Trellex Rubber Truck Bed Liner Installation

Metso Trellex truck bed liner is a rubber liner with steel backing. By utilizing the rubber lining there is up to 95% reduction in vibrations felt by the driver and a 50% reduction in perceived noise. The liners increase the wear life of the truck bed while reducing down time for the common steel liner welding and preparation. The system is modular ensuring safety while moving the panels with eye bolts and the pre-installed lifting holes. Installation usually takes 5-7 hours as long as the truck body is properly prepped. The surface being smooth, dry and free of rust enables good welds on the studs utilized to fasten the system into place. The liners come with plugs to protect the holes in the rubber that house the stud and hex nuts. Once installed it is recommended to run a load of fines through the truck to fill the gaps between the rubber.
