Mellott Minute: Tramp Iron Damage

Sometimes uncrushable materials like steel makes their way into the stream of crushed stone. In this video we take a look at a cone crusher that had a piece of steel go through. We took the crusher apart and examined all the pieces. Fortunately we were able to save most of the crusher and put it back in running order.
We recommend magnets and metal detectors to avoid the costly damage that the video shows.
