I really needed this. A few weeks ago, my husband lost his job of 22 years. We are she’ll shocked and unsure of how to move forward and care financially for our large family. Thank you for the inspiration and hope.

Hello, I can relate to this as I lost my job in October and had a temporary job at the post office which ended last month. I can't claim benefits and although the duration of the trial is much longer than we had hoped, we have felt peace and have positive direction. God knows our needs and provides for them with perfect timing!

There have been times of unemployment in our lives. Each time the Lord preserved us and brought to pass new opportunities. The Lord loves families and will not let you flounder. Keep the faith and build on that foundation. God bless you in your efforts.

Ok so HUGE WOW!!! I really really really needed this. I needed the frankness and the solutions that were found that were normal and true. Just an hour before deciding...oh while I do family history, let me listen to BYU speeches clicking my bookmark tab for the BYU Devotionals website, I came upon notes I took in a Stake Conference almost 10 years ago which basically told me to Don't Quit, the Lord will fill if I but open my mouth. I am really thinking that this time I am struggling to move forward after closing my shop of 15 years, that I am needing to be drawn to the Lord through devotional time spent with Him in learning just like these type of devotionals. I have also become a Temple worker and that is really blessing my spiritual life too. Thank you for this so very much! I will be listening again and taking notes!

Bem, eu estava com os meus olhos já embaçados do dia e a mente cansada. Espero agora depois de estudar a bela conferência mais um pouco e orar, me expressar minha alegria e ansiedade.
Durante uma oração,eu estava me perguntando o que eu poderia fazer com os anos que ainda vou viver nesta vida? E orei ao Senhor sinceramente sobre o tema humanitário. Até foi engraçado como o Espírito me abordou ao acordar depois me dizendo que não era o meu dom. Então depois de orar e questionar Ele me mostrou acima das montanhas aonde não consigo alcançar e ir mais alto, como no discurso do elder Uchtdorf.
Então eu pensei rapidamente que eu poderia me esforçar estudando as leis da fisica durante o dia e em troca todas as noites eu pediria mais informações e Deus que me daria mais revelação.E realmente eu estudei para mais tarde receber. Eu já me questionei se o Pai Celestial sabe se sou maluca. Mas humildimente pensando eu sou feliz sendo a esposa do meu amado esposo e rainha dos convênios sagrados para as eternidades que aprendeu a gostar de ouvir música sacra e colher flores. Sei que isso significa mais alto!
