  • The Annual Kai Wa'a Strong Maliko Race went off on Saturday the 18th of May with pretty clean conditions. I made a big mistake in the first few minutes where I hulied and lost about 45 seconds getting back on. I made up a bunch of time and I am still proud of my finish.
My camera dies as we were all coming into the finish line! It was a great finish since all our crew was together racing hard to cross the line first.

Way to keep going after that huli (I don't like the way the stingray braces). You surf like a wizard

Were you using the stingray paddle? How do you like it?

Yes I love it very much! The catch is great and you don't have to bury the blade as much so you can paddle faster. I also bury the blade and it feels the same as a normal paddle so it's the best of both worlds for me!
