It doesn't necessarily counts as Elemental reactions because it never specifies an element that synergizes with one another. Just an amplification towards Negatives statuses, this set would work on the new Sonata Effects. But we can't expect anything better to it.
Day 1 player who has been playing every day: I still don't have an Emerald of Genesis because I took Static Mist from the free box and haven't managed to get another 5* standard weapon yet.
Have you been using your standard pulls on the permanent character banner? Because if you were playing day 1 for sure you would've had enough pulls for the standard weapon banner to get at least 2 more.

The game kept trolling me with Lingyang and Calcharo duplicates, so I didn't get the other three characters until I lost the 50/50 on Chungli to Encore. (I also have really bad luck: I have every character, but I've lost every single 50/50 in this game aside from Yinlin.)
The best way they can make 4* weapons viable for anyone who isn't a brand new player is if there is a way to increase their damage beyond the base stat stick of the standard 5* weapons (without their sub effects). To properly balance it all they need to do is make it somewhat difficult or 'clunky' to activate that 4*'s benefit. That way there will genuinely be some situations where they're better than 5*s if you know how to properly use them. Other than that, their only advantage would be if they give some other major benefit (the prime one being increased energy regen from things like overture, cadenza, marcato and, of course, VARIATION
I haven't watched the full thing yet, but new echoes are obviously coming which means just by equipping one of the new echoes can probably trigger the negative statuses mentioned on the weapons. That's my guess because that way Kuro can make it universal
Let's hope there's free 4 star weapon skins that cover up weapons. I'd like to see some affinity system where every character gifts a free weapon projection designed for them in mind. Paid skins are one thing they could do something with more of a wow factor to justify the price. But having options is good
If they ever include an elemental debuff system I hope it does not scale with a new substat because there's no way I'm gonna roll new echoes for that. Either make it static, scale on an already existing stat, or make it tied to character skill level, anything except making an "attribute mastery" substat.
the 5 stars in the game are so good that outside of variation you dont need any 4 star weapon. everyone should get the 5 star pistol and sword then pull for 1-2 limited weapons

The debuffs applied by enemies on damage are alright, but I'd rather craft the one gauntlet weapon that gives 50%~100% counter damage bonus since thats theoretically the best weapon for Jianxin since most of her damage comes from counterattacks.

These seem like great statsticks. Not as good as 5 Star standard weapons ofc, but craftable and 4 Star of that level of power is really good. Only part that can mess it up is the requirement, what will count as "Negative Status." The new sonata sets were revealed and the Spectro set might be doing that (though only in Chinese I think? E-thin was made a video today and did say it was official info, but so badly translated...) Depending on how accessible debuffs are, the gauntlets and broadblade could be worth it on some characters. If you didn't randomly get the 5 star standard one, or for some reason pulled them. But the sword and pistols are kinda useless. Emerald of Genesis is something everyone will have, no doubts about it. As for pistols, you either already have them because you build a pistol character, got them for Carlotta, or will be getting Carlotta's weapon. Can't really see a case where these pistols would be used over the 5 Stars or the concerto pistols for Mortefi if you don't have Static Mist. Rectifier is also meh, I'm sure that by now most people have Stringmaster and/or Variation, so all their rectifier needs are covered. However, for players starting with Rinascita, those weapons will be of great help. And since 2.0 is also when WuWa comes to PS5, it will be a lot of new players who can use high attack weapons they can acquire relatively easily.

Been playing pgr since launch recently pgr also have this problem the difference of f2p option and BiS weapos are so large unlike the era of gen 1 f2p option and BiS difference are not that high (not including the dupe system of course) compared to gen 2 and 3 i hope they improve on this
Because PGR is far too F2P compared to WW, so in that game, it doesn't matter not unless you're full F2P which you can't pull for weap, if you want every char., but just buying monthly BC you pretty much can get the char. and weap. While WW, is not that F2P friendly just enough, that it doesn't feel so scummy.

Well... i don't see a need to use purple weapons, they are only starter weapons, i go for various 5* weapons and use them between characters when needed. Only when you don't have a 5* 2nd weapon of the same category and you have 2 chars in the same team that need the same type of weapon would i use a purple one.

So in less than a basic attack chain, your attack stat is buffed by 32% just permanently. For a 4 star weapon that people don’t have to spend money for, that’s not bad at all? Do yall just like complaining or what lol. Also it’s gorgeous. Not everything has to match. The design is based on the festival, not our resonators.
Hopefully they finally offer some decent 4* weapon options...not that they seem to care to be particularly f2p friendly anyways. Those weapons are just more of the same useless slop. Do the math, but any weapon that is below 50% of the damage of a BiS weapon is simply bad game design and predatory. That is one aspect at which Wuwa has always failed. Why do the BiS weapons have to be so ungodly much stronger, not even Hoyo does that.
The weapon banner is guaranteed already, if they made 4 stars weapons so overpowered, why would they even keep creating 5 star weapons if the only gamble you are doing is how late you drop it? Genshin creates alternatives cuz they know how trash their weapon banner is designed

One of the biggest appeals to almost all of Hoyos games (aside from Hi3 sadly) is that they can be fully played F2P. If you got the character at base, thats good enough to clear anything and everything in those games. I say that is better than having to only spend 76 wishes instead of a chance to spend 152 because you dont need to spend that at all in Hoyos games. I much rather had Wuwa having the same banner but stronger 4* options or 5* options at that. All standard 5* weapons without crit rate are utter garbage, sadly, due to the Echo-system now allowing you to go to 100% crit rate by subs and one mainstat alone.
All of these weapons are trash. The game is saturated with sub-par 4-star atk% weapons. Its very easy to get 5-star weapons in WuWa. Consequently, 4-star weapons to even have some sort of value, need to enable different builds/teams. Maybe a weapon that gives concerto energy to the next on-field resonator or something that debuffs a specific element, etc. 4-star weapons should be where the devs lean heavier into different team builds and make certain niche playstyles AND niche resonators more viable.
Is not you. The problem is that some of the effects are so oddly specific, and the reward is usually not good enough. I think the only good ones are the 5* ones, and even then, some are incredibly niche (Camellya's sig for example). These weapons are an example of whay i'm talking about.

Hopefully they finally offer some decent 4* weapon options...not that they seem to care to be particularly f2p friendly anyways. Those weapons are just more of the same useless slop. Do the math, but any weapon that is below 50% of the damage of a BiS weapon is simply bad game design and predatory. That is one aspect at which Wuwa has always failed. Why do the BiS weapons have to be so ungodly much stronger, not even Hoyo does that.
The weapon banner is guaranteed already, if they made 4 stars weapons so overpowered, why would they even keep creating 5 star weapons if the only gamble you are doing is how late you drop it? Genshin creates alternatives cuz they know how trash their weapon banner is designed

@@ivanmartinez743 but isnt it better to make the exclusice harder to get if the difference is not too massive? One of the biggest appeals to almost all of Hoyos games (aside from Hi3 sadly) is that they can be fully played F2P. If you got the character at base, thats good enough to clear anything and everything in those games. I say that is better than having to only spend 76 wishes instead of a chance to spend 152 because you dont need to spend that at all in Hoyos games. I much rather had Wuwa having the same banner but stronger 4* options or 5* options at that. All standard 5* weapons without crit rate are utter garbage, sadly, due to the Echo-system now allowing you to go to 100% crit rate by subs and one mainstat alone.

All of these weapons are trash. The game is saturated with sub-par 4-star atk% weapons. Its very easy to get 5-star weapons in WuWa. Consequently, 4-star weapons to even have some sort of value, need to enable different builds/teams. Maybe a weapon that gives concerto energy to the next on-field resonator or something that debuffs a specific element, etc. 4-star weapons should be where the devs lean heavier into different team builds and make certain niche playstyles AND niche resonators more viable.

Is not you. The problem is that some of the effects are so oddly specific, and the reward is usually not good enough. I think the only good ones are the 5* ones, and even then, some are incredibly niche (Camellya's sig for example).
