Most Inspiring Printmaker Today

Martin Schneider is the most inspiring printmaker today for Bill Ritchie. He says Martin is not only because he's using the advance printing process. Not screenprinting, lithography, intaglio, relief, nor photography, but it combines all the principles of printing processes over history combined into 3D printing. It's real STEAM! In 2018 years ago Mr. Schneider and Dominik Schmidt made the first functional printing press with 3D-modeled shapes output as STL files printed on a 3D printer. He was joined by others to produce the first Kickstarter campaign which outdid their wildest dreams. Today, August 1, they launched their 4th KS campaign, reached their goal in one day and tripled it the next day! These are not their only accomplishments, as shown on the website, openpressproject.com. Bill singles out and credits Martin with more than meets the eye, as he exlplains in this video.
