I already my radio xhdata d-901 for christmas. This radio with my classic rock and roll & classic country.😄
So many features, this radio is well worth the price. I have two of them, One in my den, the other in my BBQ area. Aux in, usb, micro sd, and blue tooth, FM, AM, and shortwave, what more could you want in a small radio? One purchase option includes a 16GB micro card with music on it (Chinese Music).
Don't forget the Area Light :)
Hey todd i made an AM Stereo transmitter from an old radio and 2 crystal sets. I feed the left and right Chanels separately into them, turn my radio on, tune the radio on am tell i have it on the desired frequency, put my crystal sets next to the internal ferrite bar, the tune one slightly above the carrier and the other one slightly below the carrier, and it creates stereo sound, i listen to it on my SONY SRF A300.

I think it's about 23-24 on Amazon right now with or without the 32gb card (last night) and 28.++ on eBay with an 8gb card, $30.++ with a 16gb card. Price varies by seller. It has a lot of features and good size. I'm wondering if it's safe to operate on a usb cable without the battery.
you can, but the radio's reception suffers from the RFI generated by the charging circuit.

I was just wondering, with the 3v battery out, can I safely charge D-Cell NMHI rechargable batteries in this radio?
It does not charge the D Cells, only the lithium battery.

I would buy the 901, though the TR614 is a decent receiver as well. You get more for your money with the XHDATA.
