In Kaiserredux, if you play the Ottoman Empire and you accept the german Expedition, it can take over the government, leading it to become a "German-Ottoman" government. You can even instal Kaiser Wilhelm as the Sultan or make a "Constantinopel Government". You could try that someday.
The thing is Tommy does the same thing every game: 1. builds the same standard infantry division for each country 2. clicks some focuses, reads 3-4 story notifications 3. plans to establish progressive/technocratic government 4. draws big battleplan with the same 24 division 5. clicks "attack". If battleplan works, good. If battleplan not works. "they have infinite divisions, I can't break them" He should at least make different divisions dedicated to each country. Turkey has a lot of mountains and will fight Iran: build mountaineers. Turkey has a lot of Chromium. Build 1 Heavy Tonk division with cavalry that AI won't pierce to encircle and hold off russians. No air? build anti-air. He just autopilots every single player game because he is not bothered. I might as well watch any other casual player who actually enjoys playing

With the Ottomans there are 4 Real Paths to go down. All of them are a lot of fun. Centralists, Decentralists, Militarists (What Tommy seems to have played) and the Nationalists. The Centralists and Militarists play very similar and the Nationalists is a trap path leading to the end of the Ottomans but The Decentralists is a lot of fun and let’s you annex pretty much everything but you don’t get as much industry.
He should really give KX another try. theres hundreds of hours in content with KX, from totally mental nations and leaders to a fun storyline with no crazy shit.
a tip to win a bit faster is support your puppet in the Arabian war thingy at the begging by sending volunteers and then you wont have to worry about them later

It was going well and I took the oilfields + stalingrad with not so much resistance but then germany stalled and finally started being beaten back so my front stalled, *AND THATS WHEN THE ROYAL NAVY LANDED 20 DIVISIONS IN TURKEY* Game over by may 1944 lmao
