If the controller marks the controller as "PF" (Permanent Fail), you will need an EV2300 or EV2400 to connect to the SDL/SDA connectors and reprogram the board using TI bq studio software. The batteries will need balancing first.
Can also use the cheap aliexpress CP2112 board and free DJI BATTERY KILLER program but need to solder onto the SDA SDL pads, mavic AIR etc is easier since the sda/sdl are connected to batt connector board
My Mavic Pro Battery has also gone flat, I’m wondering if it’s worthwhile pulling apart and hooking the charger up directly to the battery? Were you able to revive yours, I see on other videos you need a program to reset the board so you can charge it? Cheers, Bev
It depends how far gone it is, if it is zero volts on the cells it will not come up, just remember to add a 9 volt battery to where the battery goes or it will fail when you remove the batteries.
I may try this. Did you use 11 volts at .75 amps from the beginning? Other videos mention waking an unreaponsive battery up with something like 200mA before using a cp2112 or whatver its called
Why not open up the Mavic and solder a normal plug and battery connector like we all use for almost everything else in the RC world. Once that is done you are free to use much cheaper 3 cell Lipo batteries. Use the shell from an old Mavic battery for the battery hatch. My original Phantom 1 uses normal 2200 3s 20c Batteries. 2 of the original batteries out of 4 still work!! they have lost a little more than 1 minutes worth of flight time after all these years. These proprietary batteries SUCK. your wallet just as they were meant to.
Does the Mavic Pro battery not have a BMS that can be reset by a CP2112 board? Every video I've seen using it mentions every drone that came after the Pro 1.
I made the connection without opening the battery and connected it together with its charger and was able to restore one, but my other battery recognizes it and reset its parameters with the software but it still does not turn on its LEDs or charge, what could it be?
Good question my batteries were not totalled, I put volts on each cell wires removed the cells, put new ones then carefully connected the cells and removed my 3 battery power supplies.

@@robusc4940yup I revived 4 dead DJI Spark batteries using the CP2112 and DJI Battery Killer software. Nobody idea what an “EV2300” even is…

If the battery is totally dead it will need to be programmed, never disconnect the batteries without another power source connected to the board.
I didn't know any of this and stored my drone for over 2 yrs... all my 9 batteries are dead...
Everyone gets caught out by batteries self discharging over time,

This just worked.
@@DetectorModscan you explain?
Why did you have to cut the foam between the board and the battey cells?
I cannot even remember why.

Is there any way to also know the battery chip?
No idea on that.
