In lots of Asian countries, rice is a part of breakfast, so I think the noodles count! Also love the new format, it was really fun to see the actual restaurants the food came from

They were at a *Korean* restaurant eating Korean food, and "brunch" is a portmanteau of breakfast and lunch because the meal incorporates elements of both. Hope this helps, "babes"

Ryan’s choice is my winner. Korean food is always so comforting and that bowl looked the most appealing and appetizing to my taste buds 😋
I actually think Tom was right about the first avocado toast. He can have his own opinion - not everyone has to enjoy everything the same way.
True, but his opinion wasn't even really about the food, as it was the utensils. He complained that the toughness of the bread required a better knife to cut through it. So, it wasn't even about the meal, as it was the restaurant supplying better cutlery to his taste. I mean...come on. lolol
@@djm4854 I don't think you watched the video mate, he said a better quality sour dough also, which is so understandable because I have had some absolute terror bread served to me that has ruined a brunch

Should do a series where you go to someone's favorite restaurant and guess their favorite/go to orders based on your knowledge of that person/their personality. Tom's episode will have him rejecting everyone's guesses

Brunch is great because you don't have to get up so early as you would for brekkie. It was also nice to see Tom, Ryan and Sohan give some love, support and publicity to all three venues.

Also, if you think that the dish he chose is more basic than smashed avo then i guess we just disagree. I could also say that it was 'just bread and eggs' though.

I love the “try each other’s ____” series! My favorite is probably the ones where you each prepare your favorite dish though, rather than trying a restaurant’s food. But this is great too! Love this channel…cheers from America 😊
Brunch is a meal that includes breakfast foods up to lunch so all 3 are acceptable. Zohan's and Ryan's are more my taste. Zohan looks absolutely fabulous !! Love watching

This isn't brunch comment, from Tom and Sohan didn't settle well with me and was rude. they should have worded it differently and stuck with "For me this isn't my ideal Brunch" in stead of just saying this isn't brunch, twice. Brunch is a combination of both breakfast and lunch in essence it was delivered. putting them out of their comfort zones is clearly part of the job. Maybe they need Writers to prevent this.
They all looked delicious and yummy just the wording could have been better. Also I understand this is their personal opinions
Have never seen noodle bowls offered anywhere for brunch. That's considered lunch in the U.S.

Brunch is a bridge between breakfast and lunch, in modern settings its anything that covers those areas regardless of cultural origins.
Welcome to the 21st century, noodles, pizza, steak, sushi, pasta etc can all be included in brunch.

Love the format being out of the studio 😊 I think a series pitting the team against each other for each meal of the day would be fun. So each person chooses a restaurant per meal where everyone playing tries a selection of dishes from it (so one place per day rather than all in one) and then picking the winner would be a fun way to show off the restaurant more as well as the person’s taste xx
In Malaysia we have 'Nasi Lemak' it is coconut milk cooked rice. The portion is usually full or ½portion and it's good for brunch

Some great options, but you're wrong, the best brunch in Sydney is Breakfast Ramen at Rising Sun Workshop in Newtown with their 'fizzy bubbler' coffee. Broth tastes like buttered toast and the egg is always runny. Ryan, I feel like this would be right up your alley.
