i really love ganghoon's and jaeman's scene in this episode, bc ganghoon is always the silent and mature kid with everyone but with his dad he's just like the child that he actually is, with jaeman he can cry and be vulnerable.
15:58 Didn't you notice who the person in the next cell was who said, "Don't give up. Let's live together?" Actor Jo In-sung, who played Kim Doo-sik, is a star in Korea, so we recognized him just by hearing his voice.
Most Westerners are not familiar with Korean actors, much less their voices, so this is one of many instances where native Korean viewers are better at picking up clues. I'm Korean American btw and this is the first time I've seen Jo In-sung in a K-drama. I did not watch any of the other K-dramas he's starred in before. He's impressed me a lot in Moving as well as many of the other actors, but you can't fault me for not recognizing most of them. The only actor I recognize is Ryu Seung-ryong from Extreme Job and also Miracle in Cell No. 7 (I had no idea he played the protagonist either lol).
Every single character in this show was amazing. Even the characters who were projecting L vibes, they all redeem themselves. Even the goons were notable
9:00 , ISTG i don't know how much i rewatched this part ! i rewatched this scene for a very unhealthy amount of time!! totally understand your reaction 🤦🏽♀️🔥🔥🙌🏾
That's because they don't try to make everything into a comedy. If the hallway fight were in a marvel movie, someone would've said something "witty" and that would've removed the tension.
learning about Lim Jae-seok's tragic story, we learn that he has been segregated since childhood in the Yodok concentration camp. This concentration camp actually existed (closed in 2014 thanks to pressure from human rights associations, but above all to "rehabilitate" the image of North Korea in external eyes) and was a kwan-li-so camp, that is, a penal colony used by North Korea as a "re-education camp" through forced labor for all prisoners who have committed crimes against the state or political crimes and the punishment extends to the whole family, and that's why Jae-seok he was there as a child, due to the failed escape attempt of his parents, who died in the attempt. The dead prisoner who was with him was not one of his parents, but just another poor wretch who was unable to survive the hellish conditions of the concentration camp. The reason Jae-seok wears sunglasses is because, having lived in darkness most of his life, light is unbearable for him. His power has nothing to do with air: his hands can create powerful shock waves depending on the pressure exerted, which is why by falling from the school, with his hand hitting the ground, he causes a powerful earthquake that the building crumbles. Once again the show puts us in front of a character who appeared to us as a disgusting monster, but who in reality is just a poor victim, forced to do, like everyone else, what he is told. What keeps him going is the intimate friendship he cultivated with Kwon Yong-deuk, the North Korean giant who, mind you, was not the guy in the cell next to him who tells him "let's live" urging him to stay alive; words that Yong-deuk will repeat to him and is the reason why Jae-seok bonds with him. This gives a further tragic dimension to both characters, because Jae-seok sacrifices his life to save Yong-deuk, who considers him his friend and Yong-deuk sees his only friend do it for him, pronouncing the words who encouraged him to carry on despite everything. It's such a human story, made up of human characters, but forced to do things they didn't want to. Like father, like daughter: The way Hui-soo interposes his arm to intercept the bullet to protect Bong-seok is an obvious reference to his father who did the same. Note that Bong-seok's way of flying follows that of his childhood hero, Bungaeman, extending his fists, just like Superman would. The bus that Gye-do drives is still the same, they just replaced the battery. However, it is clear that Kim Deok-yoon has no intention of attacking those who are not part of South Korea's superhuman program, when he does not attack Bang Ki-soo and Han Byul, which makes it increasingly clear that this task is doing it unwillingly. The fight between Ju-won and Yong-deuk is reminiscent of the historic ones like Bud Spencer and Terence Hill, with the exchange of single punches to try to knock each other down, but also to see who is stronger. The reason why the police appear not to be intervening at the school is because the NIS is cutting the school off from the outside world, in order to keep everything that is happening inside a secret. Recall that Hwang Ji-sung, the NIS agent posing as the school's guardian, made a phone call to his superiors when Ju-won and Mi-hyun showed up, so they know exactly what's going on there. credit to the person who wrote this
It said that their abilities decreases as they age. That's why Chief Min doesn't care about old generations and that's why it took longer for Huisoo's dad to regenerate last eps. So that shot in the head is the worst scenario.
15:58 u know the man who says "let's live"? he is kim doosik aka bongseok's dad. i like every characters from this drama. they have back story but also have humanist
Jaeman is amazing, the other guy didnt even stand a chance Moving was so so great! Pls react to the chinese dramas: "Till The End Of The Moon" and "Who Rules The World"
0:08 I thought he was just cute when I first heard him, but I had no idea he would say Korean greetings incorrectly for this long. "~is(입니다)" is pronounced as 'i', not 'a' 😅

Yea we mentioned him but changed our mind lol. But yeah I won’t recognize his voice. But the answer is way obvious in ep 20

It is far better than MARVEL hero movies.
That's because they don't try to make everything into a comedy. If the hallway fight were in a marvel movie, someone would've said something "witty" and that would've removed the tension.
The scene between jaeman and ganghoon was everything, i love them sm 😭💙
Tbh so far Moving and Superman and Lois are by far my favorite live action superhero shows this year.

I like that they put some limits on their power like this. It adds tension to the story
