Is this the same place where 3000 some years ago, God punished the people of Lut cause there were performing homosexual acts? 6 years have passed since the making of this video. Since that time the level of the sea has dropped about 6 meters. With the overuse of the river Jordan the sea doesn't get enough water to sustain itself.

I was able to experience both of these places when I flew to Egypt. This was the best trip of my life , would definitely go back there to visit.
People like myself who can’t afford to travel over there, benefit from buying the mud and salt from the Dead Sea because of severe chronic skin conditions... but also breaks my heart watching this kinda make me feel torn .. as much as I love the minerals and as much as they help me I’m thinking maybe I may have to look for an alternative which is a huge shame ...
Why? It not as if the mud is used by animals or any other humans. As for the level of the dead sea water, since there is no life, except for some bacteria, in the dead sea, the government has no reason to refill the dead sea. Enjoy the mud and I hope you feel better😊.

So what if you were in the dead sea many times how the hell does this make you an expert for skin ailments?
+DrKcPrCrN Well the water did clear up my acne for a while, probably just the result of the salt and other dissolved minerals drying up the skin but hey, it worked.

People like myself who can’t afford to go to the Dead Sea benefit from buying the mud and salt because of serious skin conditions... it’s my dream to go one day .. maybe I can afford it in the future x
it shouldn't be too hard to build a pipeline from mediterranean sea to the dead sea. it would not require pumping since the dead sea is lower. so the pipe can climb to the hilltops if the mouth only is lower. it would not make dead sea sweet but dilute it so that it could provide life.
