Loved the game as a kid. Don't remember the music being that "screechy" though. I really should get the TG out of storage and see if it still works. Been years since I turned it on. Wouldn't mind replaying Cosmic Fantasy II and Dragon Slayer.
I like that this version's dialogue was translated better than the original arcade version, but the apparent fact that "Baarogue" (Shouldn't it be Balrog?) knows who Carl Sagan is baffles me.
is it just me, or does the priest seem to have taken lessons from the belmonts in terms of weaponry? o-o Yes, I know this wasn't made by Konami but let me have this dammit D:
I really thought this game was gonna be lame especially looking at the name and the thumbnail and damn was I wrong. This game was pretty fracking cool, nice looking sprites and backround as well as that good ol PC engine sound. This was a good one.
What I love is that the first portal opens up in somebody's house. That must have been an hilarious real estate deal.
The narrative is really fascinating, looks like a great game.
Can't wait to play Cadash on the upcoming TurboGrafx-16 Mini.
I played this a lot in the arcades. I could beat it with one quarter as the cleric.

Working Designs often slipped in western cultural references at the time, this is another case of that.
I adore your videos friend greetings
One of the huge reasons to get a PC Engine mini.
51:31 Carl Sagan??? What the fuck?

I loved this game. I d mainly play as the Priest. Fighter second. I never really liked the mage and never played as the Ninja.
I had a friend that used to go on about this all the time ..
Then I played it and he wasn't my friend anymore
PC??? Looks and sounds so much like megadrive
Actually it's the PC Engine, also known as the TurboGrafx 16 in the states, roughly contemporary with the Megadrive! 16-bit graphics, 8-bit processor
