4:14-4:29 Fully rendered deleted scenes being left out of home media doesn't seem as uncommon as you think. A few months back, I discovered a similar example with Turning Red, where there was a scene from the beginning of the film involving Mei and her friends protesting in the school halls. The full scene is not on Disney Plus or DVD, and all we have of it, at the moment, are snippets from the trailer and the Embrace The Panda documentary as well as tie-in books that feature it.
I remember seeing something in the newspaper years ago about Shrek 5 being about Shrek's past and his family, but I always just assumed that I must've dreamed it up or imagined it. A new Shrek is bound to happen sooner or later at this point, though I'm wondering if they'll try and reboot the franchise or continue it. I can't imagine what a Shrek reboot would actually look like , but I also don't know where they could take the franchise now. I guess maybe a story about Shrek and Donkey dealing with their kids growing up and/or diving into Shrek's origins (I don't know if there would be enough to Shrek's past would be enough for it's own movie. He started off as living alone in his swamp without much to go off on his past, so trying to bring in new characters outside of his family and a possible antagonist responsible for him being a loner could be difficult).
Concept art of teenage Shrek has been released and it is certainly.. a thing that exists Also just a few days ago Universal Studios In Florida may have accidentally leaked Shrek’s reboot design on some signage
@@sailorluna.3252 It's been debunked. Just an old, messed up Shrek cutout that was intended as a decoration in Universal Studios theme park. It was scrapped and hidden due to its appearance.
I would have loved Aardman's version of The Tortoise and the Hare. I'm a huge fan of the British Animation studio since childhood after watching their works like Wallace and Grommit and Chicken Run.
Bro I am so mad that we never got a Plants vs Zombies movie, like its one of my favorite game franchises and I would have fucking LOVED a movie based on it no matter if it was even really good or not.
I might be going crazy but like I remember like in the beginning of 2020 or either the end of 2019 seeing a poster teser advertising for Shrek 5 in the mall and I swear I did but I might be wrong
Ahoyhoy! I love Flushed Away. I couldn't tell for the longest time wether it was CG or Actual Clay. For many years I looked at it and saw finger marks on the characters and thought it was real clay. They did THAT good
From all of the lost media videos on RUclips, I did not expect Dreamworks to actually plan on making a PVZ movie. I've literally got mental whiplash the moment I've heard that portion of the video. The game is still near and dear to me, especially all those years I've played it when I was still very young.
I remember back when puss in boots was announced I remember a friend of mine saying they were going to do spin off movies for dragon and Prince Charming. It was very confusing to me as dragon didn’t speak and (as far as I recall) Prince Charming dies at the end of Shrek the Third. I’m curious if these were just rumors my friend or some tabloid made up or if there was some truth to them.
I worked for a company in Houston where we would pull people to the side to watch parts from unreleased movies/shows and commercials. They would then answer a survey about what they watched and we would send it back to the producers of said show(etc). It was super cool to see storyboards of unreleased movies. Some were changed completely from what we received at the final release. We also got to see movies/shows that were considered projects, but were never released which created lost media.
There’s this bit of demo reel for Shark Tale: m.ruclips.net/video/Jw4v03Giigs/видео.html that seems to be set right before Don Lino gets up in Sike’s face and that tells him his boys are coming after the shark slayer (which in turn, is before Lenny and Oscar make their plan).
Hi do you know the Shrek animation test partly found can you do a video on when it gets found the actual footage of a little bit from somebody's demo reel
I think that scene with Luca with the piranhas was shown a bit with the bonus feature "Rough Waters" and in the "Shrek Luca" part. Difference being that it's unfinished animation and the difference true to it's name, Luca the Octopus having Shrek ears. Also in that voice acting bonus feature, there's an early footage of Oscar in hand-drawn. Shark Tale was meant to be hand-drawn, but due to Sinbad and the Seven Seas not doing too well they switched to CGI similar to Shrek 1 and 2 and Antz.
Flushed Away was always going to be CGI. The water would have made it literally impossible to do with stop motion animation back in 2006. It was not a DreamWorks decision. I'd also argue it's possibly Aardman's best film. It's certainly their most accessible. And they've always done references in Aardman movies.
I don't know if I want a Shrek 5, but I really, REALLY don't want a franchise reboot. If we can get more stuff like Puss n' Boots's spinoff and movies done in the Universe of Shrek, I'm all for it. But a complete franchise reboot would just be inferior on every level.
Who tf would WANT a movie "Plants Vs Zombies"? Like who would think that'd be something worth spending precious minutes of your life sitting through? (Think of "Emoji Movie") We are existing in an unoriginal cesspool as far as creativity goes

Opinions on each lost dreamworks media. Tortoise vs hare: to be honest if this movie came out instead of chicken run I’ll not argue. Planets vs zombies: if it’s Dreamworks then maybe it might be good but am not interested because I don’t like video games and I never heard of that game. Shark tale deleted scenes: that’s actually puzzling. Flushed away twins: I actually like the choices of them deleting those characters because it would had made this movie more confusing. Shrek 5: I wanna shrek 5!
I dunno what it is but on the unused Shark tale footage, I felt a little uneasy Let me explain, I've seen the movie loads of times as a kid, it always felt like an odd and uncanny movie to me (might be the animation style) and seeing the Lost footage made me feel uneasy. It feels nostalgic but at the same time, it doesn't feel right. Particularly those screenshots you've shown they just felt wrong. Like I said, Shark tale by itself is ugly but this is just creepy. This sort of reminds me of something like the 1996 Shrek test tape and the Personalized Mario 64 trend. I hope what I'm saying makes sense but to boil it down again, It feels nostalgic but so, so wrong.
As a kid, that first glimpse of Shrek was something else. I strongly remember the overhead shot of Shrek and Donkey riding the dragon.
