Here in Canada All Dressed is our take on a Ranch +++ flavour. It's meant to be a combo of the best parts of many flavours. The mac and cheese, or as we call it "KD" is a staple in so many households here. It's great to just have handy for anytime you want a fast easy meal and you can do so much to it. One of our favorites is KD with a can of tuna mixed in. They also make a KD Pasta Salad version that is also awesome with tuna, celery and green onions chopped up into it. That's one of our summertime 'gottahaves', Lol. Great videos NZ Fam. Thank you so much.
I heard before, that Canada is pretty big on Ketchup flavored chips. If I see any at the stores in my part of Texas, I will need to buy some. Good reaction video! ✝
Imo, all dressed is better than ketchup. But in some Spanish speaking countries, you can get chips that have a ketchup packet inside. Check the bodegas

It would be great if you all could visit Canada some day. Our neighbors to the north are some of the best people in the world. Thanks for the fun video.
Here in the states I never heard of ketchup chips. I also never heard of flavored mac and cheese before. As far as chips though, Lays is always my first go-to when buying chips.
"The origins of cotton candy trace back centuries, all the way to Renaissance Italy. Back then, chefs melted and spun sugar manually. The process included them pulling the candy into thin strands using forks and draping it over broom handles. These hand-spun candies were not only labor-intensive but also expensive."
Here in Canada we use the terms Cotton Candy and Candy Floss interchangeably. Interesting side note, the French term for it, Barbapapa literally translates to "Daddy's beard" and there was a kids cartoon back in the 70's with the same name.
WOW never heard of ketchup chips or additions to mac n cheese. Don't see how cotton candy can be a tasty addition. 😳 I'm not a huge fan of ketchup except as a BBQ base😋
I put hickory sticks or plain potato sticks on my hot dogs and I like to drizzle sweet barbecue sauce on my macaroni lol idk maybe I'm weird. Love you guys!!! ❤️ I cracked up at his concentration face trying to get that coffee cereal down 🤣
Can confirm the bbq sauce on KD. I put some bbq sauce into the water before boiling it, it makes it a bit more subtle so you can still taste the cheese.
I’m American so I’ve never had KD, but I’m sure it probably tastes like our Kraft Mac & cheese…? We don’t have the flavor packets here and very jealous tbh. Can’t believe we don’t have it! I want to try those cereals too! I need to go to Canada!
American KD apparently has a different flavour than ours... same company though. Quick trivia, Kraft foods, was originally a small butcher shop, owned by JL Kraft, who also sold his home made cheese, in Fort Erie ont Canada. Most of his customers were Americans crossing the river from Buffalo NY, so, he moved his operation there.
All-Dressed is Canada's favorite chip flavor. It's hard to describe. It's a combo of multiple flavors, like BBQ, Salt and Vinegar, Sour Cream and Onion and Ketchup in one chip. I find most people either love it or hate it, very few people have a middling reaction to them. Poutine is one of the most Well-Known Canadian original dishes. It is French Fries, Cheese Curds and Gravy at its base, though there are many varieties, where they add things like Peas or Chicken. It's a very hearty dish, which is perfect for a place with really harsh winters like Canada.
So I had to look up "All Dressed" flavor as I had never heard of it. The description says "a mixture of salt, pepper, catsup and bbq sauce". It is apparently also a popular pizza flavor.
All dressed means the works or all the toppings for a pizza. That’s where it originated. For instance, where I’m from all dressed usually will mean Pepperoni, Salami, Ham, Mushroom, Onion, Bacon, Ground Beef and Green Pepper. It varies from place to place though.
14:46 Glad you each liked different chips! Avoid Pringles, they're way too processed - kettle chips are better. Hickory Sticks are surprisingly addictive :) ! Cheers from Holland Landing, Ontario.
When you are allowed to travel outside of New Zealand again you should try to visit Quebec, Canada and try poutine from the place that invented it. Poutine is one of the most popular Canadian snack foods or side dishes. Also recommend visiting the east coast of Canada they have the best lobster there and lots of beautiful scenery.

I love All-Dressed chips. Kind of hard to come by down below the border in places, but thank goodness I live close enough to the Canadian border I can find them.
Ruffles, Lays, & Doritos all have the same parent food company, PepsiCo. These are all likely made at the same plant as the flavoring is sprayed on hot while the newly formed flavorless chip is formed moments before and drying on a conveyor belt. Pringles is a mega corporation by Proctor & Gamble.
The most flavoured chips are made in Winnipeg. Old Dutch Company which is Canadian and base their chips more on flavor and less on salt. I'm from Manitoba so I grew up having all brands of chips.
I live in the Midwest never seen ketchup flavored anything in my local stores. Not a ketchup person anyway and I think salsa has surpassed ketchup as our most selling condiment.
Actually, there is a ketchup flavored item readily available in the Midwest. I'm originally from the Chicago area and you could get 2 brands of brand potato sticks that came plain or ketchup, Andy Capp and PicNik (not certain of spelling). The PicNik came in cardboard "cans".
@@steveyork8069 They really are very good. The ketchup flavor is akin to bbq, just no smoky taste. I don't really use ketchup but those ketchup flavor potato sticks are tasty. I live in California now and both are available here. I was surprised to see them, thought it was a Midwest thing, lol. I wish the Lays ketchup chips were available. I've tried the Dressed, still sold here.
I actually like the green tea Kit-Kats. My brother lives in Japan and always brings those when he visits. He also brought sake flavored ones that actually had booze in them. They were not half bad. And one that was just wheat flavored, but it was DELICIOUS. It just had this mellow, creamy, slightly sweet taste.
I just found your page and may I say that I absolutely love your family and your love and chemistry!! It is truly beautiful all while being hilarious in the right places as well! Thanks for sharing love in times the world needs it!
"All dressed" began as short hand when ordering pizza, burgers etc. - it just means with all the all the toppings (when I was a kid we would order all dressed, NO anchovies). Chip makers appropriated the name for chips with a combo of flavours). For a time, there was also a Loaded flavour which combined sour cream & onion, cheese and bacon flavours). There really is a Miss Vickie, her husband was a potato farmer near Alliston, Ont. (about 100 km north of Toronto) and she started making kettle style chips and selling them locally - she hit the big time & sold out to Frito-Lay
There was a Miss Vickies distributor located in a house on my street when i was in my teens. We had numerous convenience stores within a few seconds drive, pizza shops and schools.
That cotton candy flavored mac and cheese has to be a joke. Ive never heard of that before and it sounds uh.... DISGUSTING. I wouldn't eat that even if my life depended on it lol.
I wonder if it was meant to be put on the pasta instead of the cheese? Same with the other two as well. Like, you could fix half the pasta with the cheese flavor and the other half with cotton candy or something.
@@kev7161 I know you can make creamed macaroni sort of like the same way you might male rice pudding so I was wondering too if you missed out the cheese and or made your own Macaroni

Not sure but when I lived in Canada, all dressed referred to how you ordered your pizza toppings. Poutine began in the province of Quebec and spread across Canada (USA?) as a topping with cheese curds (yuk) over french fries. The favorite mac and cheese is from Kraft; they even have it precooked in small containers so children can pop one into the microwave!
@@LindaC616 Agreed, I don't like ketchup chips at all but I could eat all dressed every day.
Denzel is a man of few words, but makes the absolute best faces! What a lovely family. I started watching Kiwi Kicker, and have absolutely adored the switch to the whole family. Stay well. Really enjoy your content. 👍🏽
Ketchup chips is HUGE deal in Canada and the LAYS version is the most popular one !!!!
I'm in Arizona and have never heard of Ketchup flavored chips
I have never heard of them and I’m from Pittsburgh and we like ketchup
Now replaced by Miss Vicky’s Sweet & Spicy Ketchup 🔥
@@helenchappell2632 ask a snowbird to bring you back some 😅😂
I''m in New Jersey. Ketchup flavored chips is a new one for me too.
Me either, I’ve been trying to figure out what ketchup chips are?🇱🇷
It's so heart warming how much Atlanta favors her mother 🙏❤️
"The origins of cotton candy trace back centuries, all the way to Renaissance Italy. Back then, chefs melted and spun sugar manually. The process included them pulling the candy into thin strands using forks and draping it over broom handles. These hand-spun candies were not only labor-intensive but also expensive."
Funnily enough, though, sugar was a luxury, and the dental ramifications of a high-sugar diet were almost exclusively a problem of the rich.
Here in Canada we use the terms Cotton Candy and Candy Floss interchangeably. Interesting side note, the French term for it, Barbapapa literally translates to "Daddy's beard" and there was a kids cartoon back in the 70's with the same name.
Y’all are bonkers! LOL!! The “buzzer”, the added sound bytes, “toe action” and a few other things!
WOW never heard of ketchup chips or additions to mac n cheese. Don't see how cotton candy can be a tasty addition. 😳 I'm not a huge fan of ketchup except as a BBQ base😋
The little dude just smashing the Poutine KD was awesome.
I put hickory sticks or plain potato sticks on my hot dogs and I like to drizzle sweet barbecue sauce on my macaroni lol idk maybe I'm weird. Love you guys!!! ❤️ I cracked up at his concentration face trying to get that coffee cereal down 🤣
ok... Hickory sticks on a hotdog or Burger... I MAY have to steal that for a future date...
You are "one of a kind" 😉 I can see how that would be good. I have done regular potato chips on burgers and hot dogs before and liked it.
You should definitely try it guys it's yummy 🤤😋
Can confirm the bbq sauce on KD. I put some bbq sauce into the water before boiling it, it makes it a bit more subtle so you can still taste the cheese.
Glad to see you enjoying snacks I see all the time
I’m American so I’ve never had KD, but I’m sure it probably tastes like our Kraft Mac & cheese…? We don’t have the flavor packets here and very jealous tbh. Can’t believe we don’t have it! I want to try those cereals too! I need to go to Canada!
Lol KD stands for Kraft Dinner mac n cheese ...so yes you have...
Hello from Northern New Jersey. Always enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work. Be well and stay safe.
14:46 Glad you each liked different chips! Avoid Pringles, they're way too processed - kettle chips are better. Hickory Sticks are surprisingly addictive :) ! Cheers from Holland Landing, Ontario.
I TOTALLY agree with You on the Pringles, I'll never Ever buy them again. It's SOOOO MUCH better to GET THE normal chips.
Awesome family really enjoy your channel watching in Northern Ireland
When you are allowed to travel outside of New Zealand again you should try to visit Quebec, Canada and try poutine from the place that invented it. Poutine is one of the most popular Canadian snack foods or side dishes. Also recommend visiting the east coast of Canada they have the best lobster there and lots of beautiful scenery.
I live in MI and traveled to Toronto and had poutine. Missed it ever since! 🙃
Hey my New Zealand family I swear to gosh you are the best and most positive family I have seen on RUclips lately I look forward to every new video and all the new cooking episodes y’all are awesome thank you very much for brightening my day one thing I can tell you is to try is warhead candy (super sour) and crybabies candy (bubble gum and again super sour) thank you again for everything y’all do have a great day
I love All-Dressed chips. Kind of hard to come by down below the border in places, but thank goodness I live close enough to the Canadian border I can find them.
I'm outside Seattle. we can get all dressed around here, but I CANNOT get ketchup chips. miss them SOOOO much
If you don't mind that they're not Canadian, check bodegas or Brazilian stores. They often have something similar
Thats cool. I had an australian shepherd named ollie. He lived 2 b 19.nicest dog in the world. I miss him so much.
You guys should do a special video where family and/or friends try some of these snacks too!
@@charlottemccaig578 Neither brand in my area!
I've occasionally found them in some regional brands, but never Lays.
Ketchup chips must be a Canadian thing. I've never seen any of these before.
When I was young they were around a lot with all the flavors out it’s like they faded out but we just put in bowl with pepper.
Well they are trying snack from Canada...
I like to dip chips in real ketchup I also like to put potato chips on my sloppy joe and hotdogs for a crunch factor.
We have the loaded in the US. I don't think we have all dressed though, at least I have not seen it.
That cotton candy flavored mac and cheese has to be a joke. Ive never heard of that before and it sounds uh.... DISGUSTING.
I wouldn't eat that even if my life depended on it lol.
Canada can keep that one lol we don't want that here in the U.S. lol
I wonder if it was meant to be put on the pasta instead of the cheese? Same with the other two as well. Like, you could fix half the pasta with the cheese flavor and the other half with cotton candy or something.
@@ImOutOfMtDew Most Canadians don't want it either!
@@kev7161 I know you can make creamed macaroni sort of like the same way you might male rice pudding so I was wondering too if you missed out the cheese and or made your own Macaroni
I'm from Buffalo,NY and we border Ontario. I grew up in Fort Erie, Ontario during the summers. This tasting brought me back. I love Canada and all the tasty treats we didn't have. Planning on crossing the border for ketchup chips because of this. Thank you 😊
im a dual citizen of Canada and NZ. i was teaching my friends here in canada God Defend new zealand earlier. thanks for showing canada love
Wow, All dressed sounds amazing! Love the videos!
From the USA… never heard of any of those flavors of Mac N Cheese. Love your videos!!
cool box! thanks for sending it! I love poutine
Such a fun and warm-looking family. I can't believe you guys choked down some of those things. Your guess is correct, some of those items I've actually never even seen in my local grocery stores. And I don't live in a small town, I live in San Diego California. Sometimes you can find strange items like those in small liquor stores or gas stations here and there. I enjoyed you guys trying them out so I don't have to! Thanks!
I’m from the U.S.A. And never heard of cotton candy Mac and cheese. Lol. Poor Kyler wants a bite. Thanks for sharing.
All Dressed is an older term we use to use to say “the works” for a pizza. So if you asked for an all dressed pizza. It means all the toppings.
What a great family, cheers
I myself do not care what tyhe seasonings are for the "All Dressed" chips are, I will tell you I absolutely love it. I can eat an entire bag in one sitting if I am not careful. All Dressed is amazing chips and I buy in bulk when I find them.
I still think Homemade mac and cheese is the best!! Especially with bacon in it!! It's waaaayyyy better than the kind that comes in a box!!
All dressed and ketchup are my favorite chips 😁Also I crunch up the hickory sticks and put them in my homemade burgers 👌 sooo good !!! 👋 from Nova Scotia 🇨🇦
That's the vintage Doritos bag they brought back from the 70s & 80s......love the videos!
All dressed is pure Canadian. Hickory sticks are awesome. A fav of mine.
I think it's absolutely awesome that you all are willing and game to try unfamiliar foods... good for you!!!
Great video guys. The trick to eating ketchup and/or All dressed chips specifically is you have to keep eating them. The more you eat the more you want. The tastes become less “shocking” but also exponentially better the more you eat.
Yay they're back.
We live in South Carolina, USA. Never heard of All Dressed chips or Cotton candy flavor Mac and cheese. My wife and I enjoy your blogs.
We need to figure a way for you all to try some of the killer fried items from the Texas State Fair...fried Oreos, fried ice cream, fried Twinkies, fried cheesecake, fried lasagna, fried BLT...
Candy Floss...
It's an extremely typical carnival/ county fair and amusement park food.
Like popcorn and huge drinks at movie theaters.
“ you thought of that one Timmy” lol.
Factoid: Timbits are usually the middle of doughnuts; a fun treat; we have them in the USA. I love watching your family; gives me hope for humanity; also love Kylo (sp?); what a cutie.
Taupo name was driving me crazy so finally looked it up. That was my first stop after picking up my caravan and leaving Auckland for all points south. Stopped and had lunch on the shores of the lake at Dixie Browns :) :). Can't wait to get back to New Zealand. Shooting for January!!!
thank you for your rational . I 'm a subscriber of you . keepup the good work .
Oh all dressed is basically all the classic flavors in a mix... a few variations, they all good to me.
Peace, Love!!
