Thank you. I am tired of seeing everyone reposting old Efren videos and giving a shot by shot commentary filled with memes when we can all see for ourselves what he is doing. Some of them are even now using AI software to make it sound like Efren is talking about every shot, and that is unethical and should be illegal. Thank you for creating a clear, cohesive compilation of his accomplishments throughout the years. I was able to play Efren once and I will never forget it. He signed my cue and a couple of cue balls and I was able to get my match recorded. I will always treasure what he brought to the sport. Great job!
There will never, never, never be another Efren "Bata" the Magician Reyes. I think No one can surpassed or equal his achievements! A champion of over 100 tournaments! from 1980's to 2023. Amazing! so humble and still playing local in all over the Philippines, he continue to inspire young pool players today.
Really glad to live in the era of Billiard great and a legend Efren Bata Reyes. I doubt if in the coming future Philippine generations, we could produce another billiard great who will surpass or even equal the "Magician".
Carlo Biado and Cheska Centeno, our two up and coming billiard greats hopeful. In some of their games I've watched, they were able to show a semblance of ma😢gic shot. Although not as frequent and as tricky as that of the "Magician".
America never saw a prime Efren Reyes. His prime was during the 1970s when he was in his 20s. This was a time when he was unbeatable but sadly before he played televised matches
He has so much respect for the game and his opponents that he doesn't do jump shots. Sadly, this became common for others to do to easily overcome a blocking ball. Reyes is a pathfinder!
I played Efren in 2017; the game was the best three out of five in nine ball. Of course he beat me and I enjoyed it. - - - If you are ever in the Huntsville Alabama area just stop by Steve's Cue and Grill - - - as you walk in you will see a picture of Efren and I on the left just outside the entrance of my cue repair shop - - - I'm there every week, if I'm not in my shop just walk up to the bar and look to your right - - - I am normally setting at the first table having coffee or unsweetened tea if I am not teaching someone how to shoot pool - - - if you shoot pool, since I own all the Diamond pool tables in the bar, the table time will be on me and I will let you break!
Nobody sees a pool table like Efren does. No one has the skill and confidence to pull off the great shots, under a lot of pressure like Efren does. He is simply the best to ever wield a cue stick.
Free-wheeling style is how to have the most fun. Get out of line just so it's more thrilling to advance with crazy shots only a master can count on making.
I hope you change your title. You're making it appear that he's deceased. If you are going to quote his career don't start it on his birth date. Start it at around 1963 when he won his first match.
Man. I like efren and the videos made by u. But, sorry for this, ur voice, the tone of voice is not the most interesting voice that i have ever heard. Mind to tune it up? Appreciate ur overal works anyway
Thanks for your opinion! Unfortunately my voice is the last thing that I can manipulate. Of course I tried to tune it up but It is very difficult. In my opinion using my own voice is much better way that using AI voices which sounds weird.
Maganda sana ang documentary kaso hindi maintindihan ang pag pronounce mo kuya. Sumakit ulo ko. 😢 and please pronounce PHILIPPINES properly. Nakaka trigger. “Eben” Maganda sana ang content.. 🫠
Yes, I admit that my pronunciation is not perfect because English is not my native language. To be honest, I would rather create a reliable documentary with worse pronunciation than publish idiotic videos about Efren that contain a lot of idiotic cut scenes. Do you think such videos are cool? I don't think so. For me, the most important thing is reliability and quality. When it comes to pronunciation, sometimes some things can't be avoided, especially if you come from Eastern Europe and don't use English on a daily basis. And as for the pronunciation of PHILIPPINES..... can you explain what you mean because I seriously don't understand what I pronounced wrong?
@@MrCueBallnever mind. People in the Philippines who has never been outside of the country doesn’t know that there are wide variety of English speakers who has different accents too. They tend to expect American, British or Australian accent. The most important thing is you are speaking a language grammatically correct, the rest is subjective.
The greatest pool player of all time, The Magician, Efren Bata Reyes. Watch my documentary video to discover best moments of Efren's career😎

This is honor to live in his era and I can’t imagine what the history of pool might have been like if he had never been born.
Great tribute, awesome compilation, Efren truly deserves the EFREN REYES CUP.

My Top 1 of all the Documentary! Nice work
Wow, Thank you so much!
The humility is what makes him even greater. And that era was filled with excellent players

Isn’t that just called a race to 3? 😝
@@murahk123 You'd be correct!
Many pool players like to think they were and are the BEST, but ER has proven them all wrong, RIP my man.
What's up with the "RIP"..!? Efren just turned
70 years, and are soon hosting the Reyes Cup.
You must be living under a rock or something.
He's still alive.
Efren The Goat 🙌🏻
Excellent tribute video, well put together. Or you "just got lucky" lol....

Dapat mabigyan si Efren ng parangal ni PBBM.. .
The coldest players in crucial moments. The safety destroyer
It’s like Reyes is playing in the NBA, all others are in the WNBA!
Free-wheeling style is how to have the most fun. Get out of line just so it's more thrilling to advance with crazy shots only a master can count on making.
The best part is... no one even comes close to his trick shots in live games.

BAN someone because you can't win? what a shame!
Yes and unfortunately it happened to him in some tournaments.
Check why there is no billiard in olympics. :D
I laughed so hard at his pronunciation of Phenomenon
🤔
The way you wrote the years in the title. I thought he passed away ffs.
I'm very sorry to read this. This is a video to celebrate Efren's 70th birthday. That's why these years are in the title.
He conquered the US with a 10 dollars Cue stick 😂
Tagalog na lang! Ah.. Este.. Tagalog naman! 😅
Y is Chris meiling also called the magician?
Yes, as well as Shaun Murphy in snooker.
scared the shit out of me I thought he died
