"A lesser amount of money was spent on the military service this year" - I seriously doubt it. LOL Antonia, you're the cutest teatcher of RUclips. And you're very smart, too. Congratulations from Brazil! Thanks a lot for the work.
You are the great teacher. Giving non-verbal cues while teaching is the best way of communicating & teaching. I like your skills as a teacher & It cleared all my confusion & queries regarding 'a little' & little | 'a few' & 'few'. Thank you so much, I am going to subscribe to your Channel.
hi Antonio....keep going...your lesson is very understandable..I am Habib from India..I am a teacher of English..but I have come to know a lot of thing from you..thank you a lot...be safe
Antonia Romaker - English and Russia online Hello Antonia.I have a question. in comparative adjective of superiority of little; we say I have less money than you, this is correct but if I say I have less little money ,I mean the comprative adj of inferiority of little is it correct to say less little than? According to me,I dont think we should repeat little twice. what do you think?
madam I have a doubt that you said little is used with uncountable nouns right then how little is used with baby (baby is countable know ...🤔 one baby two babies ,3 babies pls madamgv a reply
hello I want to discuss a thing if you are available. Is it right to consider less and least as an adjectives?if we will consider less and least as comparatives of little as andjective,it will be not correct in a sentence as a descriptive one.For example we use little as an adjective and this word is descriptive but not quantifier. We say little boy but less boy and the least boy is not correct in usage according grammar rules. When we say less and least they changes meaning in a sentence and turn to quantifier and don't stay in the position of descriptiveness.Less and least can be used as determiner, adverb and pronoun but not adjectives. If they can be used as an adjective then give me some examples where they are descriptive (adjectives).Besides Adjectives' questions are what? and what kind of? Thanks in advance!
Antonia Romaker - English and Russian online then there is no comparative degreee for little as a descriptive ) we can say small and smallest as an alternative
Ma'am, please help me out of this confusion, "Inhabitants of Us vs Countrymen of Us" which one is appropriate between them???? I will be Waiting for your reply.... :)
I have one question Antonia. What it's a adverb of degree? and I don't understand the sentence ( I'm a little busy here). thank you for upload this amazing videos.
An adverb of degree shows the intensity, how much, how strong etc. I am a little busy - not very busy, but still. So I can chat, but I can't go with you to the cinema or something.
Antonia Romaker - English and Russian online I did watch it to the end, every video you upload specially when the subject is new to me or even if i have prior knowledge on it i start writing notes for sometimes you present a topic with more details. I've been watching your videos for a very long time so i benefited a lot from you, however there are ambiguous things in English language you have to make it clear for us, for instance i was watching a movie when this sentence came ( There is a woman here who is insisting she talk to you) why the speaker didn't add "s" to the word "talk" .i need you to make a lesson about cases we don't add "s" to the third person singular as i'm not sure if you already did a video on that and i might have missed it. Thank you
I'd like the way you teaching English. when you say something it's very clearly, fun and understood.
Thank you. Antonia

'A little' can be a set expression, 'the little' is just an article and an adjective ;)
"I can read a little" said the little frog.

madam I have a doubt that you said little is used with uncountable nouns right then how little is used with baby (baby is countable know ...🤔 one baby two babies ,3 babies pls madamgv a reply
In this case little is an adjective, it describes the age or the size, not the quantity 😉
