I feel it's important to note that the bridge in Yoshi Valley actually did exist in the original N64 version, but it was just a thinner section of road without railings instead of a bridge. While I agree with your standpoint that the existence of the bridge basically undermines the whole idea of the track, but it wasn't a new addition for the MK8 remake. I think if the bridge was broken & required a jump to get across or simply had a patch of off-road before it (kinda like that shortcut towards the end of Shy Guy Falls), it would've been a much better shortcut. I would also like to defend the shortcut's existence as a whole, at least in the N64 version. MK64 had very loose handling, especially on tight turns, and that thin patch of road served as a perfect risk/reward detail in the track. tl;dr - the bridge in Yoshi Valley existed in the original version, could've been better if shortcut was tweaked a bit. I agree with your opinion.

Recent footage has come out of the Toad Harbor mafia handing Lachie a briefcase of money with the intention that he'd rank Toad Harbor as one of the best tracks in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Unfortunately, he did not rank it as THE best, so he got mugged by a bunch of Toads wearing fake mustaches right after this video went up (it's okay he got un-mugged 🙂).
Athens dash is amazing it is different and unique compared to other city tracks and it doesn’t feel bland with no straight long roads to me it feel likes an adventure driving through ruins tricking off stairs and it’s variety of shortcuts you should appreciate this track more

starter track with two turns in paid dlc with bad graphics, basically that being said imo it can be fun to drive sometimes, nowhere near the best circuit but like for a starter track it's a better pick, and at least it's not excitebike
