This house is so cute! I love it! The new carpet is so nice. I love the color and the pile. Are you renting or buying? Does this make your commute to work longer? Thank you for sharing the layout! I do want to see more as you move in. Whatever you are willing to share, and more views to the outside. I'm not sure how I would feel not having a door on my bedroom. What if your son gets up in the night to eat or something and wakes you guys up? Or you have company, and they see into your room. Or what if you need privacy, and your son is home. haha You found that place fast it feels like. I'm really happy for you!
We are renting but I’m hoping they might consider selling it in the future. We will put a door up it’s so weird there isn’t one on that side but there is to the other side of the room. It’s actually only 2 minutes to my work so that is amazing 😊. I love the outside. I’ll get some more pics of it. We are going to be there in a week. Movers come next Monday so I’ll be able to get more pictures and videos.
amazing house. we r first time home hunters. what are some things to look for when investing on an old property?
We are just renting but in my opinion older homes just have more character and generally built with sturdier materials than new homes now. For example the home we are moving to seems to stay more comfortable, not to hot during the day and not to cold at night. It has double paned windows and thick sturdy doors, all original. I guess it is more preference but some things that I would look for when buying older, if the majority of it is original. I wouldn’t want an older home that someone bought to flip, my mom’s house is like that and everything they used to update was cheap materials that are giving her issues now.
