Hi bro, I have a Honda CB 200X. •Nice engine. •I got fuel efficiency between 46-50 Kmpl. •Good for daily commuting and weekends rides. Need to improve:- •Seat cushioning. •Headlight intensity. I wished an additional oil cooler.
The price is nice. It's priced similar to the 160 4Vs in the market. But, Honda should have given it slightly softer suspension setup. They are stiff. Also, a larger fuel tank. Brighter headlights. Dual channel ABS, considering the fact that all 160 4V motorcycles now get Dual Channel ABS. Also, would have made the bike sweeter of a purchase if it had oil cooling and six speed transmission.
I own this bike It's need upgrade like seat cushions, some time gear stuck, 6 speed gear box, daul channel ABS, and meter console. In highway you can cruise at 90 to 110 I did 2000 km Trip in this bike.
Hi Dino Sir, Happy New Year !! I have one query. I bought hornet 2.0 one month back currently facing gear locking issue in every gear 2 3 4 5 whether it is down shift or upshift. Could plz suggest any suggestions. However I booked the appointment with Honda Service Centre to check the issue. Overall hornet 2.0 is very well engineered bike. Handling and engine response is very impressive. Yes honda has to prioritise dual channel abs and headlight brightness. Their is lots of practical components are missing. Tyre hugger are not practical and as bike have lots cuts and sharp design. It will allow to get dust settles on body. Yamaha Fz come with clean design to remove dust from bike won't be to much challenge. Tyre hugger are suspension cover bit more practical. Exhaust cover of Fz cover entries exhaust. However hornet 2.0 exhaust cover looks incomplete. Honda should give same exhaust cover as they provided in cb 300f a complete one. In addition to this Cb300f design & looks sorted clear dust and washing the bike won't add to much challenges. I don't know these points matter to anyone or not but yes more dust get settled on hornet 2.0 which added bit challenge in bike maintenance.
@@MPMHMOTH Hi Bro, Even I bought hornet 6 months ago. Even I'm facing issues with gear..Service center says that we have to shift gear precisely as per RPM but they don't agree that its an issue. i have also tried adjusting clutch and chain, used fully synthetic oil, issue remains same. Please let me know if they solved your issue. its a serious concern but honda not accepting
And yeah, maintaining the cleanliness of the Hornet is a real pain. We need to accept that this bike isn't really built for Indian roads. It's been 6 months since I bought it, and I've already washed it 7 times, mostly because of the rainy season. Now, I'm just dry cleaning it to avoid rust. Overall, the bike is an absolute blast to ride-especially in 4th gear. Once you hit 5,000 RPM and start playing with the throttle, the thrill is aahhaaaa..
those matt plastic parts fade away very quickly and you must always polish them regularly. Honda should have offered better plastic quality and dual-channel ABS.
I just sold one I owned for last 3-years. Stupid Honda, they should introduce 300F's engine to this bike. Feels underpowered while climbing the mountains.
@Raghuldpr It is extremely comfortable, I had done tour of 4500kms in 12 days, and I faced no technical glitch. Got milage of 40kmpl while cruising at 100~110 whole day. But, the engine got hot and shuts for safety when pushed really hard and lack of power on mountains.
I need a light weight n comfortable bike bcos of my back issues ...always loved the looks but the quality is bit bad... im 50 yrs old ... anyother suggestions...thanks Dino bhai
@@thrillerworld I don't mean that When they are giving fibre on tank and at this price which is same engine from hornet with extra price those for fibres atleast there would be of better fibre quality. This is all I wanted to say.
This damn motorcycle has a serious missing issue, very bad suspension setup , poor seat, shitty front light.... Dont buy !!! Definitely this is a paid promotion....
@@adventureofalifetime1547 if the seat is good you won't feel it and also the ergos let you stand at harsh roads, now unless you are a lazy rider that shouldnt be a problem. I did a 2k kms trip on my R15 which i sold now and bought a vstrom, had the best time of my life on it. The only people who say such non sense are people who have never ridden a bike for a tour(the ones I've met are mostly people who compare experience with a activa they own to a motorcycle) or who are extremely unfit. If you have actually ridden cb200x you'd know it is good enough. Its a better tourer than the xpulse and of course better seats, ergos, cornering and tubeless tyres.
@@abhishek3398 cmon man, not everyone finds comfortable what you find comfortable. You cannot just call them lazy. Im 6 ft 3 and was a winger on my football team, so it's not a fitness issue either. PS. Off topic since you mentioned R15, for me atleast, the riding posture was very uncomfortable for long rides, I'm not sure, maybe it's due to my height, I have to reach further.
*this might bring lot of hate but I don't care anyways It's a hornet air cooled bike with make up ...not an adv not an off-roader just for name sake .. to increase sales .Honda could have at least made it an off roader just like x pulse with added suspension oil cooled engine....dino says it's underrated... of course it is....why would anyone with the right mindset purchase this ...commuter clothed as adv?*
Sales will be definitely increase, if this motorcycle comes with the CB300 engine.
Sales*
Will definitely*
Of course bro at least this comes with cb 300 f engine..and dual channel ABS and comfortable seat
@@subinsaji2805 Don't bother, one has to be dumb to wish for a 300cc engine.
This is a Hornet wearing a Tuxedo. I had almost forgotten about this bike. Thank you Dino for bringing this video

Ensure the clutch cable is correctly adjusted with adequate free play to allow smooth disengagement.

Single Chanel ABS ajj ke jamane mai,,, disappointed
Just a stupid bike...low power...low pickup...
This is such an ugly looking bike
Looks beautiful. Xpulse is one ugly bike if you ask me, no design element at all. This is an awesome tourer.
Somehow I disagree with both comments. It's a good looking bike, but the suspension is stiff causing back pain during long rides
