Well yeah, cause mid is imo, the hardest position to play in dota. Cause of it's complexity and you really need to be very creative in addition to have a steady mechanical skill and adequate understanding of heroes.
TBH, there is a legit need for guides for carry and supp. Almost every single time I play supp, I get a carry that either throws or has an utterly insufferable attitude. And when I pick carry, I get a supp that does those exact things as well. Interesting side note: the midlaners are pretty damn consistent in not having a shit attitude.
I love this content. Recently moved from CS to Dota and I have 800 hrs. I've ranked up three times from Crusader to now Archon 2 watching these. Keep going!
team games too easy. If u play with your team you win. solo pubs are more unpredictable and therefore more fun. Theres way more diving because it doesnt get punished.
You missed to point out when going on the puck in the beginning , he fortifies structures so that the creeps don’t die while taking the tower aggro, thereby ensuring the first blood with his sleight of fist
Topson's described his gameplay as "Disruptive" and not letting the opponent play their game. It's actually one of the more modern mid-player mentalities; a lot of the great mid players over the last 10 years come from DotA's old "3 core" games, where all three cores are like farming heroes. The 4-protect-1 was something that existed even then, but it was for specific heroes, and not so much a strategic way of playing. I feel like the meta today has shifted just because of players like Topson who want to make plays, not farm their items (even though actually farming is more efficient), but how Topson does it has been perfected over so long (seriously for every game he wins, I'm sure he has lost 10 just because of his playstyle), he makes it look easy. It's actually incredible how efficient he is at making plays. Edit: Also Topson almost always skills 2-0-2 and then maxes his tree dance with Monkey King. Some times he'll skill it an even 3-3-3 and he almost never goes ult early. He is basically looking to snowball his hero in anyway possible; if he gets his jingu stacks, he does his usual style of pressuring and killing the enemy mid, but in more passive lanes like Magnus who can just go farm stacks and side camps, he will flash farm creeps and I've even seen him jump to the midlane creeps so they get shoved in faster (and so it has to be dealt with).
So proud cuz you've mentioned chris luck who is a peruvian player, he has an agressive style and I recomend you have to analyze some peruvian players like 'whisper', 'Héctor K1' and of course 'scofield'

that mid movement video was sick, that ladder bait from just being dominant is nice, but sneaking auto as mk was neat. I played vs a timber as templar, the guy keep putting his huge model on top of creeps, you could not cs without missclicking him even tho i aggroed he followed everytime, i bet you can build whirling stacks the same way you show here.
Use a-move to attack creeps. If i remember right it attacks the closest unit to your cursor. So clicking at the right spot should get you a lasthit even if the enemy tries to block the creep with hero model.
Im pretty sure he was considered a mediocre midlaner on pro standards during (and after i guess) his first TI, since im pretty sure he lost his lane most of the time. He has always had a very different mid play style and that makes him so good. He might lose the 1v1, but goes ganking everywhere and wrecks havoc wherever he goes and then ends up winning after all. Now he seems to be winning the lane as well :D
one important thing that you missed. he always man fights the opponent at level 1. i think thats like his rule or smt idk. and if you think about it, actually his 100% right. if you're playing melee hero and your opponent is ranged, you have to exchange blows. the ranged heroes will try to harass you anyway. so its better to exchange hits instead of getting harassed and do nothing.
Dissecting the laning stage in this manner is definitely helpful to a lot of players While this may be focused in the midlane some concepts are actually doable in the sidelane. Enjoyed the video! Thanks Speed! Ma Man! #SpeedPog

Topson is one of the most agressive player in dota thats why he can be the weakness of his team , he can easily be shutdown. But if topson win his lane he is going to roam around the making space to either his offlane or carry
You dont really shut down an aggressive player. Thats the point. You shut down a player thats farming, not someone who is constantly roaming and ganking. He often doesnt even win his lane, he just gets enough levels and starts going around the map killing everybody. Pro tip for all miders: If you lose your lane go win other lanes.
Lol he is the sacrificial player, you shut down him so what?? The carry is still farming lol. Look at ti9 lol, his aggressive playstyle basically rekt any pro teams and they could end the game within 30 or even 20 min if they want. But sometimes OG likes to play with their food since no team is close to them right now. If og is still the same 5 players I am not surprise that they will win the 3rd ti this year
Something i have realized from Topson, is that by dying he prevents his networth to grow to insane levels. He will stomp and get a lot of kills. But he will also die several times. By doing that he plays with his net worth. Preventing a massive Beyond Godlike Spree. Only once the game reaches the late parts, he will start going on massive killing sprees, since he will have enough items to survive.
