737 is simply too tiny to be comparable to any great aircraft such as 747. I always fly B747 whenever I could. Always love the jumbo and the sight of the jumbo head sets my holiday mood in.

Agree, but not just on the basis of the 747's fortuitous good looks. It is loaded with superb technical features like the impressive triple-slotted trailing edge flaps.And a strongly swept wing means the 747 remains the world's fastest airliner in Mach cruise, now Concorde has sadly gone--the 747-SP was certified for even faster Mach cruise at higher flight levels. The -8 is a worthy successor which deserves to be embraced by airlines and I hope its production life approaches the 744s :-)
Sales don't look too good. Most of the orders are for the freighter version. (It actually is a better freighter than the proposed A380 version. It has a longer range.) Maybe after first flight and delivery to Cargolux in 2010, there will be more orders. I sure hope so too. I would like to be inside that interior they were displaying.
@JRLZAGS03 So agree with ya man.. and another important fact... the gates on to days airports dont board the A380 effective enough,so 747 will dominate the skyes for many 10 years into the future... and also the taxiways... the A380 is infact so big tha main airports in many countrys cant take it down due to to narrow taxiways etc.. and to small gates...

There are by this time no Gate that board the A380 as effective as they board the 747... and the A380 dont take more than around 100 more people than the 747 according to now days seat configs,so no no no... the A380 will always be behind the 747... i guess the world have to see 747 as the little big brother jumbo :D :D :D

No need for a size comparison, just show them what each plane looks like after they have all been run over just using the nose gear.
