    Thanks for the lesson Michael! I built my first CBG a year ago but still haven’t learned how to play it yet. I still get that slide buzz you spoke of. Any lessons you can offer are much appreciated!

    Mike,
    Excellent videos. I bought a very inexpensive CBG from a box store a few months ago and have gotten bit by the CBG bug. I came across your site by chance and am so glad I did! Your vids are well done and very informative. I will be checking out your site and purchasing a quality CBG from you soon.

    thanks for the video and all your help Michael… question: what type of slide do you recommend for us beginners, metal, ceramic, glass ? stubby slide or full slide? thanks in advance… keep the videos coming brother . i’m learning from you and appreciate your work to help us newbies

    • @SouthernFireGuitars
      @SouthernFireGuitars  Год назад +1

      Thanks Bartman. Glass and ceramic seem to be the most smooth for me, full size slides are bit long for CBG's. Here is a glass one I use, great size for CBG'c amzn.to/3NxDQTq

    So when you bar the 5th fret with your index finger and use your ring finger to fret the middle string on the 7th fret, is the first string muted? I’m having an issue barring the 5th fret and not muting the first string with either my index or ring finger getting in the way.
