Nice vid mate and it looks fun driving on the dunes. We're headed to adelaide at the end of the year and thinking of detouring to beachport to tackle the track to robe mainly the dunes. I'm still a beginner but already done a couple of beach driving but haven't done the beachport to robe track and this time going with a mate that hasn't done 4wding. Will it still be okay for us to tackle the track by ourselves? Any tips?
Robe and Beachport are great places to visit. We downloaded maps from: www.wattlerange.sa.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0021/298101/WRC-Beachport-Nora-Creina-4WD-Map-2023.pdf to learn where soft sand areas are. We also checked with the locals at the petrol station to get any tips. In the end we had no issues, but the research and local tips helped.
