That was a fantastic tutorial, I remember knocking my head against the wall trying to figure out these little details. The first side would take me 12 hours and the second side would take 25 minutes! LOL Great stuff! Looks awesome.
Thanks for posting this! Have the door off the truck (1957 F100 Styleside), thought I just wanted to get the door seal on. Turned into changing out the door locks, lubing up the regulator to see if it would budge (I was worried the glass was glued in, it wasn't) and the glass moved. I really want to try and reuse the channels and division bar because it looks like I'm dealing with a permanent BO. You're my hero!
I always stay to the end buddy. Yep those keys and tumblers and not interchangeable. Those doors and window tracks are like new that is kind of a pet peeve of mine I have seen friends buy older cars and they have been repainted and new interior but all the weather stripping for the doors and window tracks has not been replaced the glass rattles going down the road and every thing else. Well I see you have made it to the big leagues. you know how I know you are going to be a guest on Micks Christmas live stream I plan to be there buddy!!
Very good work on the door! I just discovered your channel this evening. I have a 1966 F-100 with vent windows that don't work right, so I was interested, not boring at all to me. The driver vent wobbles if I leave it open. Something may be missing or broken. The passenger doesn't wobble but won't stay open to let air in when moving. I know there is a spring tightener adjustment at bottom so vent can stay open, but I haven't done that in the 2 years since I owned. You were able to remove your vents easily once much was out of way. I don't want to disturb the window channel much if I can avoid that. Actually that's not a bad winter project for me, so thanks for the guide.
That was a great explanation, RoadKing. I’ve done this process on a similar year Chevy, and it’s interesting to see the differences in the way Ford built theirs. 👍
She’s looking mighty fine Roadking! I hope you can get her done before the winter weather sets in. If not, do you have a place to store it so it doesn’t sit outside all winter?
Like you, I believe it's kind of sad you can't just but the spline shaft for the regulator. If we ever find something boring we can always hit the 2x button. You sound a little funny but we get the process. :) Attending to the details sire makes a huge difference. That looks so much better.
Thanks Wyatt!! That 2x button is the best thing RUclips ever did!! I watch everything in 2x, the funny thing is most people talk so slow that they almost sound normal at 2x!!☺
Great Video! On my 65 F100, when I try to roll up the window, it stops (or gets stuck). I can raise the window when I pull up on it by hand and crank the handle. Before I remove everything, I was wondering if you or any of your subscribers might know the exact cause and the remedy. Thank you
Thanks Blue!! It's called Tropical Turquoise, I got it from TCP Global!! I don't know how close it is to Caribbean Turquoise without seeing them side by side but I bet they are pretty close!!☺
Those new felts and window seals will make all the difference. No rattling or whistling when on the road. Cheers Buddy nice work.
Thanks alot Lloyd!! I can't believe it's so air tight it's tough to close the doors without the window cracked a little!!☺

Thanks alot Buddy!! Yeah ya hate the fact that you're gonna have to do the other side but at least you know it will go alot better!!☺
..dang. that old girl is going to be better and stronger than new...lol...keep safe...
Thanks Bob!! We're real pleased with the progress!!☺
The old Ford is looking good. I enjoy the videos. Keep them coming

That's a lotta work Thanks for showing the door locks again I see now that one is the later double sided key
Yeah Buddy!! The toughest part is knowing when you get a hard job like this finished is that now ya gotta do it again on the other side!!☺

Thanks Bud!!☺
Great work, Roady. I'm playing catchup on your truck videos. It's great that there is good parts availability for those old Pick-em-ups.
Thanks Mart!! I'm in the same boat as you Mate!! I spend so much time working on the old sh!t, that there isn't any time to watch videos!!☺
Every time I see this truck I love the colour more. (Canadian spelling colour) EH !!! That vent window looks new. (which it is now)
Thanks Mate!!☺
Well it helped me, now I have an idea how to go about doing it, Thanks!!
The truck is looking nice already 👍👍
Thanks alot Dan!!☺
Good to see the old Ford coming along.
Thanks Will!!☺
It looks super 👍 Love the color, you’re doing great job
Thanks alot Joe!!☺
The "either way" key was a big selling point in my '67 Mustang's brochure when it was new. As was auto off blinkers and an available seat belt option!
Looking Good RK.
Thanks Tommy!!☺
"Caution", PRO at work. Sit down, shut up and watch him work! Enjoyed watching. Some deffinate finessing going on with this part .Nice!!!
Thanks Mac!! That was one of those jobs I wish I had three arms!!☺
This truck is turning into a real sharp machine.
Thanks alot Shannon!!☺
I appreciate you making the video RK! :)
Thanks alot Aserta!! We appreciate you watching and hanging in there all these years!!☺

Yeah Buddy!! That's the perfect description!!☺
Nicely done EJ.
Thanks alot George!!☺
Thanks for doing this Roadking, it was a big help. Even with the door off it's a pain in the balls 😂
That was a great explanation, RoadKing. I’ve done this process on a similar year Chevy, and it’s interesting to see the differences in the way Ford built theirs. 👍
Thanks alot Greg!! The other side went alot faster once we figured out the setup!!☺
Making good progress!!
Thanks Dan'l!! Yeah at least now we can work on it without worrying too much about the weather!!☺
Great job I can see that's not easy.
Where did you purchase your window parts from? Kit or sku number would help too.
Same question here. Looking for that 48" channel
i love the color scheme
looks better every time ,can you see Mikes christmas lights from your house :)
Thanks Mike!! That wacky Guy!! you see what happens if I don't keep my eye on him!!☺
Thanks, hope mine turn out as nice. Don’t forget to oil your hinges.
She’s looking mighty fine Roadking! I hope you can get her done before the winter weather sets in. If not, do you have a place to store it so it doesn’t sit outside all winter?
Thanks alot Scott!! We're not worried about the weather, like we've always said it's not a show car just a daily beater!!☺
Every door I've had to work on and there's been numerous ones I always loosen the dividing bar and sneak the window up and out of the top
Yeah same here!! That's because none of them have that big ass hole in the door!!☺
Haven't seen you in a couple days I hope you had a great Thanksgiving doing a great job on that old Ford👍👍
Thanks alot Mel!! Yeah we took a few days off for the Holiday!! Our Thanksgiving was great, yours was also!!☺

Nice
This will help me do my 65 f100. Your 64 is a beauty, is the color Caribbean turquoise?
Thanks Blue!! It's called Tropical Turquoise, I got it from TCP Global!! I don't know how close it is to Caribbean Turquoise without seeing them side by side but I bet they are pretty close!!☺
Makes 2CV windows look easy, but then, they're hinged jobs that don't take much to remove and refit... :P
Ah the ol' Citroen!! We don't see many of them over here!!☺
Hi, do you know the name or number that identifies that teal color? Thx
I painted it with Tropical Turquoise from TCP Global. The original Ford Color is Caribbean Turquoise #22-7956.
@@805ROADKING Looks great!!
I bet theres guys watching this saying turn it that way point it here lol when getting those parts inp
