I shot past him and my daughter is in the back saying "we beat that truck daddy". I was a proud daddy in that moment. My little girl loves to go fast.
do your daughter a big favor and don't race again with her in the car. i mean, you are her father and can do whatever you want. the problem is not you in such situations - it's the unknown. put a cage in it, 5 or more point belts, full race seats, helmet and fireproof clothing - and do it again. no one should miss fun in life - but do whatever you can to avoid the most sad part in this adventure: death. if it still happens: then it was god's will.

Quite similar to us, we used to go to H, the speedometer stopped rotating when the needle pointed to the H from km/h that was at 270ish kmh, still had 2000 rpm to go in 5th, highest we got on the first generation gps system was 309 kmh after that it went blank, dont think we got much more out of it though

Audi can be bought (depending on year) with a V8 and can walk around at a 500hp tune all day and night without issue on all stock internals and turbo. The V6 is pretty capable as well though. Mercedes has a V8 too and is an extremely reliable engine, it can also come with RWD or AWD. These can be bought for $3000-$8000 depending on condition, mileage and area. They’re capable of a N/A 500hp without issue and often gets twin turbo’d due to the strength of the engine.
