I feel like the early hours you can bang them out back to back. Then you hit 10:30 or 11, it starts dragging and takes them forever to bring the orders out! Drives me crazy

One little change I did back last year made a big difference for my customer ratings plus I receive more cash tips. Texting the customer when I leave the restaurant or store if it's a shop and deliver, I give them an ETA and thank them. Many times the customer is outside waiting for me when I get there saving time and increasing the chance of a cash tip. A few times I've been tipped extra on the app also, that actually happened yesterday. Communication can often be overlooked, you nailed it at the end of the video talking about how important it is.👍🙌

Hey mom I got an idea nobody ever done! I noticed a lotta teslas on the road lately and was wondering could u do a video renting a Tesla for a day or 2 for doordash comparing it to gas vehicle to see if we’re saving more money? Do u think that’ll be a dope video or just common sense to know that Tesla is better for these apps? 😅

People should watch their apps that we're on the way whether food/grocery delivery. Now if I'm late that's one thing or if the food is still cooking otherwise they ordered they should keep tab.
They should, but I swear it seems like they never do. I always say to myself, aren’t you the one who scheduled this time frame? 🤦♀️
My customer ratings are outstanding. I never communicate with the customer unless I can't find their place or if they're outside when I get there. In that case, I'm always extremely friendly. I find that people in my zone don't care to communicate. I'm also about working smarter not harder.

Your so lucky! I’m happy that your doing great. I’m thinking that my area is just ghetto with desperate people who need to get over whenever possible because they’re poor. I get it but they need to understand the drivers are losing their jobs

I get strange looks from customers when they see a personal vehicle pull in their driveway. Some have commented that they didn't realize independent operators make the deliveries. Some have questioned as to what I am doing in their driveway or at their door! Walmart must not tell customers what the deal is hence the high rate of non tipping customers in my area. I thought about making little business cards to leave in the shopping bags to tactfully inform the customers that we are a delivery service and do not work for the stores. What do you think?

I wish we could message the customer during the shop like you can with Shipt/Instacart. I always message the customer an approximate ETA once I'm heading to them. I'll try messaging them once its dropped off as well. My rating is a 5 star though but I'm struggling with tip baiting for no reason at all which is super frustrating!

Like I said in the video pay tension to what stores the orders that you were getting Tippett on I’m coming from, if you notice it’s like the same store don’t pick up at the store anymore.
Former IC shopper I don't miss messaging the customer. Slows you down. Did Prime Now Whole Foods Personal Shopper and we didn't have the ability to chat with customer and loved it. Now working with Walmart Spark, I'm back to the basics.

@@julieanders763 I do agree that messaging the customer slows you down but I've had a few customers cancel the order as i was just about ready to start delivering. Im guessing it was because a certain item was out of stock. If I was able to message her right away then I could of avoided such a hassle. (Long story of why it was such a hassle.. not fun and wasted so much time.)

Orders from sams are always 8 dlls here but still if they would pay good I’m too scared they would be really heavy items because we can’t see them 😏
I kno, everytime I’m nervous to see what they bring me. I only had to cancel once because it was too large.

The ones that say first come first serve are not
When orders say GETTING READY and are brought out to you. That means Walmart/Sam's Club Associates did NOT dispatch the order yet because they are on a timer.
Have you ever delivered to a celebrity? I did Amazon Whole Foods orders yesterday and I delivered to a celebrity. Lol I hope he tips well. He had a huge order too. I worked spark for 2 days (Friday,Saturday) and did pretty good.

@@GigMom I didn’t recognize the name either, I wouldn’t have guess it was his house until he came out to grab the bags and I saw him lol. ☹️👎 sad that I only ended up with $36 for 4 Amazon deliveries.
Also It seems like since my first week with Spark I haven’t made much. I didn’t do to bad Friday & Saturday $148 that was good, but I’m not get the incentives that I got the first week. One thing I’m upset about is 1 of the Walmarts they constantly send me orders for is 20 miles away but the store I’m closest to I don’t get many offers. Sunday I made good money with Point Pickup, which very rarely happens, 1 batch of 1: 3 miles for $12.20, 1 batch of 12 : 23 miles for $72.31. FI was shocked to see it. Lol last weekend while I was doing Amazon Flex , I saw a point pickup for $245.00 😮 I was frustrated when I saw it too lol I wasn’t close enough to that store to grab it. If I had of been I would have grabbed it and done it after my flex run. That’s one thing about point pickup I love, all the general merchandise deliveries have “by 9pm” time on it so it doesn’t matter if you don’t deliver right away.
I never see PPU offers anymore… yeah Spark is definitely a good weekend money maker, I noticed that as well.

Hey again. Question and an update to my last question lol
So when talking about metrics, which 1 gets you deactivated? Is it the customer ratings or how many your accepting? The only 1 it says I think is the customer rating if it's below 4.4 or 4.7 I don't have it in front of me ATM. I'm not accepting crap orders lol so wondering about that.
So I said the other day that I had spark on all day with no orders coming in and having DD, UE and GH on and asked if it matters having those others on? Well I did the same thing the next day and I got a ton of spark orders lol case closed!!! 🤣 🤣
Oh good to know because I was experiencing the same thing this past weekend & I thought of you! I was doing UE & DD in between on Saturday & then they just stopped sending spark orders 🤷♀️ So about the metrics, technically anything not in the green is bad but I believe The customer rating is probably the most important only that can offer get you deactivated but being late and dropping orders, I believe those Can as well….as far as the acceptance rating they can’t deactivate you for it, technically, but they do say they won’t send you as good of offers if it’s really low. I don’t know because it’s hard to say since we don’t know what they are sending other people.
Have you ever had an order cancel at the door? I had one, it over 100 items, 4 cases of water. Walmart pickup people were pissed! Lol I wasn’t I got paid anyway.

I did a Cornershop last week or so, and it was 9 units of 40 each bottles of water!!! The customer lived in the upstairs apartment!! He did the lifting!!! He never tipped either!! Lol

So my rating went down to a 4.5. I'm so upset I try hard to do everything the customer wants and then some. I've been sending a text when I get there letting them know I was there and thanking them, but how do I send one when I'm on my way. I haven't been able to do that on the app.
Once you start delivery you can click on the phone icon next to the customer info & choose message customer & create your own instead of the 2 generics they have on screen.
Do you take anyone with you on your trips

I am wondering how the Walmart orders work on Walmart plus? How does a customer request shop and deliver and how does customers request to be in a certain Walmart? Does customer get to choose which store or the website does it?
Idk about the shop & deliver part, but yes you can choose which store you want items from. I believe it’s the store/Spark who chooses whether it’s a shop & deliver or not.
Question for you…how do you get the produce on a shop and deliver, I didn’t see anything to scan?
I screenshot the number they have in the app & in the upper right corner there’s a way to press that you can’t scan barcode or something similar & I enter in the one from the screenshot. 😉 I should record it next time.
Yeah, I've tried to have intelligent conversations with my three Walmart as to what constitutes late arrival... I've been told 10 minutes not 15. But I've never been later than 10 minutes so I've never tested that theory. And then you have to sit and wait for them to finish shopping even when you're late...it's freaking ridiculous! It's hard to soar like an eagle when you're working with a bunch of turkeys...
I've been tip baited, never had one added on to the app, but I have received some sweet cash tips on very rare occasions... I bet the shop and deliver I did earlier to where I had to substitute 75% of it has a tip reneged. Really wish we could communicate with the customers before we are on the way to drop off.
I communicate with every spark customer once I'm headed their way... My rating vacillates around 4.7 from green to orange and back to green. We do have to remember I live in the redneck Riviera so people's communication skills are pretty poor!

So I found it on the app that it says as long as we arrive within 15 minutes. Yeah I’ve been tipped dated but up until today, never on a Sam’s Club order. I wish we could communicate with them too…

How do you tell if they are round robin orders? I’m a newbie :(
So when they send you a notification it usually says “First Come First…” OR “There’s a new offer for you…” when it says there’s a new offer for you, that’s a round robin.
Walmart send out a text already to the customer when your on the way
Yea, my text doesn’t just say I’m on the way, I ask if it’s still ok to leave it at the door. I’ve noticed a HUGE difference.

Hey there. Quick question. How is spark a viable way to earn when customers are taking back their tips? I had a 12 order run for 45.71 gor 38 miles. When completed and all went well, every customer took back tips and I was paid 24.45. Doesn't make sense. I will stop doing spark if that's the case
No, they aren’t allowed to tip on those orders at all, that’s why. Those are the dotcom orders
You might want to find out why you made less than the offer tho. That doesn’t make sense.
I enjoy watching your videos while I’m sitting in McDonald’s waiting for a Spark order. It been close or over 110 degrees for 2 weeks here. Casa Grande AZ. I want to get outta here and Spark in California. But I’d have to live in my van the way rents have skyrocketed.

Pointe pickup is beginning to thrive in my area and all the orders I see are from Walmart. I have a chevy trailblazer but all the orders I see say require suv. I'm least of taking these orders and then the items don't fit in the vehicle and I have to cancel the order
Yeah Point pickup was good in my area over a year ago and now it’s all spark. No more Roadie, no more point pick up it’s crazy

Love your vids. Especially the Flex ones. Just started Spark in the San Diego area. Is there no way to actually communicate with the customers when we're doing pick-ups? Because I know for a certainty that I've gotten extra tips with DoorDash and Instacart based on my communication with the customers. I always give the ETA for the drop off. And one of the best things for shopping orders that customers ABSOLUTELY LOVE is asking them how they want their bananas, green or yellow and their avocados green or ready to eat. They are always so thankful for just that alone. And after drop off whether or not they say thank you I tell them "THANK YOU for the work 🤑"... Kept my Instacart rating 5.00
Thank you! So you can communicate with the customer once you start delivery, but not in the shop & deliver orders, unfortunately. Only after you start the delivery, which makes no sense.

I believe you have to go to the app and do it it will ask you to enter the amount of the deposit

@@Wethepeople1949 did you go to the link I provided? You have to put the exact amount of the deposits. It should ask you to enter the first deposit & then the second or vice versa. It will tell you exactly which number to put where & you have to enter it in dollars & cents, for example $0.22

I took asap and took a hit on my arrival time. I was 9 miles from store in 5pm traffic. Order was to be picked up at 5 when i took order it was 4:55. Stupid me thought the time would adjust after you accepted order. Boy i was wrong. My on time arrival time took a hit. 🤦🏻♀️

@@GigMom lol yep you’re right 5:55 but i was 15 minutes late. I thought they would adjust deliver time. It’s unreasonable to punish us for the asap orders coming to us already late. It was a high demand order that i guess had been floating through drivers. If your pick up time has past when you accept it no way delivery time would be on time.
Same thing happened to me I thought the time would adjust like in doordash 😞 never again unless it’s really good pay lol
