@@markthomas8018 Except that never happened. They broke up one time and a half. Dawson and Joey were not a couple for most of the show, even in the first 4 seasons. This is the same as people who remember "the triangle" being at the center of the show when it barely lasted a dozen episodes.
@@FuzzyDlop Yup, but there were still plenty of what if moments afterwards. She spent the beginning of season 3 trying to get him back and after Pacey broke up with her, she found her way back to Dawson again. Also, the season 6 premiere for obvious reasons. They were never together after season 2, but they would always find there way back to each other. The triangle was still there, just not always the focus. Also, there was more than one, the Joey-Dawson-Jen triangle was a big chunk of season 2 and even resurfaced in season 5 to an extent.
I grew up on a lake and my first boyfriend & his best friend used to row over to see me. We had a long and tortured relationship, and I’m still friends with his best friend to this day. My mom had an affair about this time as well, house burned down, etc. So many parallels to my life. This show was my friend during those crazy and lonely times.
Wow thank you for posting this! I just happened to search Adam Fields tonight and never thought I’d hear these versions, slightly different from the old score released many years ago. Amazing hearing these versions for the first time after being a huge fan before.
Marilyn M It’s actually a rare promo CD from season 1. They seem to be more of the actual aired versions of the score. For the Score album released in 2003 he rearranged the score and redid some of them to make new suites. I love them both.
evilsilence88 That’s cool to know these versions were closer to the aired versions on TV. I guess I got used to the score that was released in 2003. I’ll listen to these ones in a new light, thanks!
Ouve a trilha do filme "On Golden Pond" (Num Lago Dourado). É bem nesse estilo. Aliás, o filme é lindo e me lembrou muito a série em alguns momentos. Tem no Tela de Cinema pra baixar.
It is! It’s a score I’d always wanted from the first season. Season 1 had some great scores. Another one I loved from that episode was Jen’s grandfather waking up and Jen about to cry from joy. Adam Fields’ score really elevated the material of the show.
Btw, I just realized that he reuses this score in season 4, just reorchestrated. Plays in the second episode of season 4 as Dawson notices Pacey didn’t show up to class. I’m sure there are other versions as well, this version was slower and shorter.
@@evilsilence88 Hi Evilsilence88, I am a huge fan of Dawson's Creek, since January 99' and especially of the score music. I get from Adam a music called Joey/Pacey theme (long) and it's coming from the Castaways episode. Do you have it ? Do you have any other music than the original score one, the promo one and joey/pacey memories. Adam send to me that message 2 years ago, offering me that piece of music "Most of the music from the show lives on DAT tapes which I have in my possession, and someday I hope to transfer them to computer files. "In the meantime, I do happen to have one extra piece that wasn't on the score album. It's from the episode "Castaways" when Joey and Pacey are stuck all night in the department store."
Alexandre Rogier No, sadly I do not have that piece. I too received a message from Adam that was about the same. He told me his season 1 scores were in storage on DAT tapes, however when he went to go look for them they were sadly nowhere to be found. He’s fallen off the radar as of late, his email address is no longer is service either.

@@evilsilence88 hi ! Just saw your answer one year after !!! I would be interested in getting the rare piece of music you have from Dawson’s creek Adam fields music . Do you think you could send me this ? Thanks for your answer !!
this show had such underrated beautiful scores
Agreed. Everyone I’ve ever shown these scores to is astonished to see it was Dawson’s Creek.
Very underrated.
Wonderful! I'm feeling here like I'm on a cottage, near a lake with trees and mountains, in the 90's.
The first 3 seasons of Dawson's Creek are ICONIC. Why did they all have to grow uppp???
Writers ran out of ideas. Need to have conflict but it got too repetitive with Dawson and Joey getting together and breaking up.

Makes me think of your first love in a new england cabin during fall.
The nostalgia is kicking me in the feels. Amazing

And your name is Jen!
This is calming I'm listening to this at work.
The one minute ending credit theme has been in my heart and mind for 20 odd years and I've only now come to find this. Thank you
Recently I've watched a wonderful movie called "On Golden Pond", this soundtrack seems to be like a sequel from that. Both peaceful and calming...
So nostalgic!! The first few seasons were just so different with amazing script writing.Afterwards it all went downhill..
A very nice/depressing song, I love it !
Never depressing, more like nostalgic if you lived in the beggining of the 2000s
Thank you. I loved the songs and score and I’m instantly transported back to when I loved everything on The WB.
I would love to live in a world that sounds like this.
Thank you, this music is so wonderful.

Piano, and then flute.
