Hi Guys. If you wish to see a more thorough flip-through of this curriculum, levels 1-4, you can check out this link --> ruclips.net/video/pmmkLZ_luNE/видео.html. Or you can find it on my channel :)

We used this for a while. It was a-lot for my youngest at the time so I tweaked it to work for us. 🌻

This curriculum worked so well with one of my kids, but it started going downhill. It's an excellent curriculum, but even I needed the change. I had a couple of other curriculums that I had the same experience with but chose to tweak and continue. Thanks for watching!

I love your videos! I need an advice , I just found out about the first languages lessons by the end of my daughters 1st grade . should I start her on level 1 or 2? Also, not sure if I missed that info in your video , but did you teach them 3x per week like the book recommended or one lesson per day would be ok too? Thanks in advance !

Hi! Thank you. 🙂. After looking back at the goals for levels 1 and 2 in the FLA and the final review and glossary of terms in level 1, if your daughter did some grammar in grade 1 and had no struggles, it should be fine to start with level 2. Level 1 covers the basics, which are reviewed at the beginning of Level 2.
The schedule, in my opinion, depends on the child. If it will be easier for you, you can start with the schedule they suggest, 20 minutes per day for 3-4 days) just to get started. But, from my experience, you will soon be able to tell the pace that would work best for you and your daughter early on. Also, some lessons might be easier to complete in a sitting, especially in the beginning, so we often would continue the lesson the next day for longer ones. In the teacher's section of the book, they even state it's better to do less and do it and do it correctly:) There will also be those times when faster will be better, and you will know:)
A lesson per day sounds fine. Ultimately, unless life happened, we were doing a lesson from Tuesday to Thursday. (I checked my old planner). Sorry for the long response, but hopefully that helps. All the best in the upcoming school year! 🙂
