Two observations:
1. This is the best live cover of this song you will ever witness.
2. The people dancing don't realize it.
I mean they do, they are in on it. They're singing along.

It is a great version. But there are better ones out there. "The Band Geeks" with John Miceli´s version is one.

If I were to go see Meat Loaf perform live, my expectations would probably not have been to hear this tight of a performance. Seriously amazing job, guys. Probably one of the best covers I've ever heard. All the vocals, instruments, as well as the overall sound and mix were just about perfect.

I love the female singer! What a voice
The problem I see is the band turned a gritty song into a party song. No apparent chemistry between the male and female involved in sex play. Who are they singing to? The Mic stands? They should have been facing one another and standing off in a vocal battle of wits if you will. The female vocals paled in comparison to Ellen Foley and even Aspen Miller. Karla DeVito Lip Synced to Ellen's Vocals in the video and on tour so she is not a benchmark. The male vocals we just OK, but the entire atmosphere was just too soft. Rock n Roll is down and dirty. This felt like karaoke as apposed to heart pounding, unapologetic, bad ass Rock n Roll. Meat and Steinman are legends and this song was instrumental in the getting "Bat out of Hell" to hold a spot in the top 10 best selling albums of all time, with 14 million copies sold, for over 4.5 decades. If anyone attempts to cover such an Iconic tune, with any degree of success, they better bring their "A" game because comparisons to the original are inevitable. This cover, unfortunately for me, fell short. Forgive me. It is only my opinion.
Exactly. The male vocals were horrendous compared to Meat. The female vocals were good but paled in comparison to the legendary performers that came before. The biggest issue this is PG rated and not gritty enough. No chemistry or sexual tension between the two. High School Musical at best. If you're going to cover one of the most iconic songs in history you better bring your A game and leave your inhibitions at the door. Major fail don't quit their day jobs

Absolutely stunning performance. Very nice. Especially kudo's to the guitarist who manages to energize the song while playing it more pure/clean rock 'n' roll then most, more distorted, playing stiles out there. (And I love distortion ;-) )

Very few covers of this. Probably because of the various changes along with the difficulty of hitting Meatloafs vocals. But this was done very well.
