I lived with a Swedish man in Stockholm on a girlfriend/partner visa for a few years just after college. Was treated like a spouse (residency, free health care, work permit). This was years ago, so not sure how it would work now. When I was there, it was very common for Swedish couples to live together for years like "husband and wife" in the traditional sense without ever getting married. Had all the same rights as a married couple, too. In my experience, Norwegians and Swedes are somewhat reserved and hard to get to know, but ultimately make very loyal friends. Danes are about the jolliest people I've ever met! The long, dark winters can be tough (folks actually got prescribed vacation in Spain for the vitamin D in winter), but the long summer days are glorious (basically light 24/7 in the North)
In Sweden now with my bf at his lakehouse. Met him in West Africa. He moved into my beach villa because I refused to move into his house because my animals and I prefer my servants. The food is so so in Sweden. I've bought spices from Amazon and learning from the Asians where to go for edible food. I can't do anymore skagar or Swedish restaurants.
@@LoveandLightHK Really? After having also lived in Japan for 3 years (and a few other countries for a total of over a decade), my honest opinion is that Scandinavian food (seafood especially) is a very close second to Japanese food and just as healthy.

Egyptian Men love black women when I was there on holiday I got a lot of attention some of them came up to me asking if i am nubian .
This is true to find a man who has his life together so countries where education is very important. Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, even Costa Rica have higher literacy rates than the USA.
Another reason is who knows you may be responsible for the business/company look at whose the head of Heineken and owners of Walmart, also the Australian mining magnant , I think it was her father's Co, etc

Hey Stephanie, I spent 3 years in Turkey. Let me tell you that the some Turkish men love black women. If you do get a chance to visit Turkey, I am still in contact with our old Landlord. He would be more than willing to show you around. My experience there was absolutely beautiful. Turkish people were so nice to us. I would love to go back and visit.

I am late to this chat/comment section 🙂Regarding, Turkiye, it depends on the person that you meet. I was engaged to a Turk and lived in Turkiye several years ago and had no problems. Turks are generally very warm and inclusive.
My Mother always said its better to marry a rich man than a poor man and she was right. My first husband was not rich but he did very well financially. I brought beauty and brains to the relationship.

I have never been to the US Stephanie and have no desire to. I cannot imagine as a black woman being invisible in the country. Come to the UK you will find a rich man that wants a black woman, you have to have money nowadays yourself. I am a mature black single woman and just want a man that is healthy, fit and secure.

The dynamic between men and women is so weird present day. Things that men would do naturally, they are now shying away from because they don't want to look like they are being used / taken advantage of. If I was with someone who heard my stomach growling and did not offer to share a meal or buy a meal from me, we would no longer be a couple. Don’t forget to to the wealthy cities,your county or neighboring cities or places of your state. Shop at their grocery stores go to their coffee shops not just Starbucks. Go to their libraries thru malls gyms golf etc u have to live in their neighborhood walk your dogs there. Live there but stay where it is u reside hope it helps

I never knew how people could do only 2 weeks of vacation. I usually have 6 weeks inclusive of personal and sick days. (4 weeks actual vacation).

I don't think I've ever been a preference per say, I'm broad shouldered not snatched but average. Not the best skin or hair, but I felt like I was fine being single forever. I had a lot of things I wanted to do and didn't need outside validation from men. However, men found me interesting, I'm kinda masculine on the inside and some men like that. I have liked men of all colors since I was little and have had no issue attracting them and am married to a WM. I find men of other races seem to favor dark chocolate, but don't care about skin tone like black people. Most don't care about hair being a certain way either, I have a fro, but wear braids and wigs. The hubs even helped me buy a wig😅

Other races of men do care about skin tone. If they didn't, other races wouldn't be trying to look as white as possible and would also wear afro textured weaves but they don't.

I think when it comes to dating, men of other races aren't colorist, they aren't concerned with red bones and hi yellow. Also in Korea people are texturing their hair to have afros, and an afro is my husband's favorite look on me.

Just because your husband, who is an outcast says he likes afros doesn't mean all of them do and knowing other races, they lie in your face and talk behind your back. The vast majority of koreans don't want hair like you, they want to be pale white. My thing is, if you are going to lie, then have conversations with 8 year olds because they are more likely to believe you. I know for a fact you arent being honest. No one in Korea wants to look like you and you arent accepted because you are too dark.

You housesit for the wealthy - if you’re still asking this question at this age, you need to observe the qualities of the women you see them with and replicate. Skin color and age aren’t factors if you are charming, authentic and thin enough. Wealthy men are often lonely and bored. It’s just that simple.
You are absolutely correct and it's unfortunate that what you're saying is rare to hear in black woman circles. One of the main things that sets black women apart from other races of women is how they talk about being desirable for certain types of men. My non-black friends who pull high quality man are clear about working to be what those men want. Non-black women know that a slim figure and certain ways of communicating and representing themselves are non-negotiable for a wealthy man. Black women talk far more about what they want and will not accept as opposed to being clear about what the men they desire actually want and how to be desirable for them. The most mixed race couples, black/white, I have seen are black women of a much darker skin tone than the ones who are of mixed race. I am a black woman in the eyes of another race and a mixed race woman in the eyes of some of my black race.
