We've seen so much of him in the north and know how special his career has been.. Its much like Mike Gibson.. Many southern hemisphere watchers have just about heard of him, but ask the players from the late 60's to mid 70's and many still consider him the most complete player ever.. Same with Rodrigo Roncero for Argentina.. Everyone rightly talks about Os Du Randt, but Roncero was the most destructive scrummaging loosehead I've ever seen, and very near as good as Os round the park, but no one ever mentions him in great terms..
