+Virginia Kelly I know what your talking about as my Yeshua, Jesus is about to make his advent into this world for the 2nd time in over 2,000 years now and we must prepare our hearts and souls for his Heavenly realm. I feel that my physical time is short as my health is very very dangerously sick.Too many times in the hosptals this year including heart surgery, preparing for a life and death surgery in Dallas. In the nursing homes 4 times this year. My Jesus is with me I know. I will be having this surgery in mid January of next year according to the surgeon who is now in India and cannot do surgery now. He is on top of the cutting edge of the type of total fusion of all the disc in one's spine. An 8-10 hour surgery. The doctors do not know if I will survive this very dangerous surgery as I have already had two of them.

Platform standards are alright, but when you start judging those who are babes in Christ, those who are seeking God, and come to church in their current situation, we are not to judge nor rebuke nor shun. You ought to repent right now in Jesus' name for there are those who are not yet ready. Jesus didn't come to condemn the world, and you shouldn't either!
Praise God there is a people willing to shake the foundation and things can be loosed! He is worthy of all praise and it is not about us, it is all about our Lord. The Bible say greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world. That is telling that He is in us all and through Him, we can shake down anything. For nothing is impossible with God. Don't try to put God in a box because He can and will exceed any and all expectations! I just love my Lord Jesus and thank Him for loving me!
Martin Moorhouse brother faith is acting as if it's so eventhough you don't feel it. I heard a long time ago "fake it until you make it." In your flesh begin to praise Him especially if it's not easy. That's the sacrifice of praise..when you dont really feel it. Praise Him when the feelings not there and watch God do something in your life.
The outsiders put a label on the faithful! The call is charismatic, the call us holy rollers, the world places labels on things they don’t understand! They called the first Christians drunk cause they didn’t recognize what the Holy Spirits baptism was! But praise be the lamb of God his word calls us the Apple of Gods eye! The word of God says we are overcomers, we are more than conquerors, we are the very Children of God! The world may place labels on us but bless the Lamb of God cause through Jesus, God places a robe and a ring on us! He seals us with his Holy Spirit! Amen!
Okay, let me put it in another way then. I used to swear a lot. After I received the Holy Spirit, I began to stop. Every once in a while I slipped. I would repent of it, and asked God to help. Now 5 years later I have never said a swear word again. I also stopped doing a lot of other stuff. But being human I still am letting God change me like the Potter with the clay.

We are not perfect, we will sin, and we will fall down, and we will fail. A just man falls 7 times, but each time he falls, he gets right back up. I believe we're not called to be perfect, as none of us could be. You are on the ball, and I'm glad you spoke out because I do have a tendency to say to much. I'm sorry, I don't always notice it.

This is the exact same thing I have been trying to do, and the majority of responses I receive are negative. And out of all this, only 2 people had turned to the Lord. The one I never thought would walk into a Pentecostal church e-mailed me months after talking to him to tell me all about what happened, and praise God I'll be seeing him in Heaven! :-)
I agree! Slit's are alright as long as they do not go above the knee's. Same as the length of skirts, knee length or longer. As for visitors, as long as they have clothes on, then all is fine. POA is a very professional church, and I don't think that they would allow something to be worn on the platform that would be immodest.
