    Lyrics:
I work down at the pizza pit
And I drive an old Hyundai
I still live with my mom and dad
    I'm 5'3 and overweight
    I'm a Sci-Fi fanatic
    Mild asthmatic
    Never been to 2nd base
But there's a whole nother me
    That you need to see
    Go check out MySpace
'cause online I'm out in Hollywood
    I'm 6'5 and I look damn good
    I drive a Maserati
I'm a black belt in Karate
And I love a good glass of wine

The 2000s were a great decade! I remember my brother and I singing this to my momma in the hospital a month before she died, she laughed for a long time! We were just two poor mountain boys trying to help our momma feel better

My story is similar but different. My son used to play guitar & sing to me... he'd love to sing songs like, You're Gonna Miss This (Trace Adkins) and The Baby (Blake Shelton) and when I'd be in tears sometimes, he just got a kick out of it & told me never to worry, he'd always be around to sing to me. But life had other plans and 7yrs ago at age 21, he passed away. Learning to live without him is still a struggle. He never knew it, but he was SO right when he sang, You're Gonna Miss This...
      You're gonna want this back...
Youre gonna wish these days hadn't went by so fast....
So these are some good times
So take a good look around...
You may not know it now...
      But you're gonna miss this...
      HE WAS SO RIGHT ON....
I miss those days more than anyone knows but listening to all our favorites comforts me and sometimes I still hear his voice still singing all these jams we loved.... Thank God for RUclips, and for memories.
      Still Missing You Baby.....

This song is a hyper realistic description of the modern age of social media. I've met people in person who can't exist without their digital persona. I dont think even Brad himself realized how genius this song was when he wrote it..

I think genius is a bit of a stretch. When the song was written online dating and social media was in its relative infancy but it was still very much a part of the cultural zeitgeist.
People had been misrepresenting themselves online for about 5 years by the time the song was written. It was nothing more than a commentary/satire of common cultural observation, not a prophecy.

    And a side note:
If your high school's marching band was considered good enough to march in the Rose Parade, it doesn't matter how geeky it makes them look, because a lot (granted, not all) of marching bands that are selected for the Rose Parade are badass at what they do.
So for all band geeks who have marched the Rose Parade, major respect.

I remember being in my teen years in 2000's going on dating sites Myspace and all that fun stuff. In 2005 Facebook took over and it was insane. Now at almost 31 I'm completely off social media and dating apps because the last time I went on there I was catfished. Watching this video reminds me of my catfish. The profile picture used in his plenty of fish profile ended up being a male model and the guy was 300 lb. I told him I didn't want anything to do with him because I don't date Liars but of course all he thought was I didn't want to be with him because he was fat. I feel like a teenager watching this music video and I love it LOL.

This music video was thought provoking and deep.
5:30 He was marching in a band with that nerdy girl. Those two had a common interest. It is implied that she is quirky and socially inept like him. That is why those two bonded and why they are an adorable couple.
The moral of the story is that having a few good friends or one good boyfriend/girlfriend is better than having a bunch of acquaintances. Having people in your life who will love, cherish and appreciate you is more important than having money power and social status. Those two may not be conventionally cool, but they have each other. She accepts him for who he is. In her arms, he does not need to prove he is cool.

Brad Paisley is extremely cool just the way he is. Great guitar player, great songwriter, great sense of humor, and he sings real purty. 😁 my absolute favorite country performer. Always seems to be having a lot of fun, and enjoying what he does. Brad, you’re crushing it. 😎🎸🎼👍🏽👍🏽

Wow! Brad Paisley sings it and plays the fantasy man, Jason Alexander plays the dweeb, Maureen McCormick plays the girl-next-door, and Kelly Pickler and Taylor Swift hop around on stage. To be only 5 minutes, 52 seconds long, this has a lot celebrities in it.

This is one of the last good country music artists that get good radio airplay. There is still great music out there, I just wish the words mainstream weren't so much of a turn off nowadays. You can always count on youtube however to hear amazing music and talent you won't hear anywhere else! I dedicated my channel to that very music.
