1. Pull the side trim off the right to expose 2 7mm screws, and remove them. 2. Open the glove box. 3. Unscrew the 2 screws on the left side of the box. 4. Remove the screw from under the glove box (center) and use a flat head to remove the push clip to the right of the screw. 5. Pull the glove box out. 6. Open the filter box, and replace the filter. 7. Reverse the steps. I'm not 100% sure the center trim has to be removed, but I am sure the trim above the box can stay in place.
What the shit, GM?!!! Who thought this was a good idea??? I’m going to have to disassemble half the bloody car to change the cabin air filter?🤬 Somebody totally deserves to be fired over this one. But anyway, thank you for the helpful video. I definitely wouldn’t have figured all of THAT out on my own!
I really liked the car before seeing that video. On my Honda CrV, took barely a min. Thanks for the video

You are welcome, hopefully they give us a break in the newer models
@@Derec chev big shots must have there head up there ass
You have to take the damn dash apart!! I had a 2014 Cruze you opened the glove box door and reached in pulled out the filter, easy as pie.
Watch the dealers, took my car in for oil, filter change. Car ready gave me a bill for over $200.00! Charged over $50.00 just for the filter.
nice video it took me 20 mins to change it thanks !!!
That’s a lot of work to get to it. Chevy sure made that one easy to replace 😂
May as well pull the cab from the engine haha
On fords you just have to squeeze the sides of the glove box. To remove it and the cabin airfilters right there. 2 minutes to replace
Very helpful 👍🏻
You don’t need to remove the top panel, I’ve done mine 4 times.
I used the K&N Cabin Air Filter. I clean it every 4-6months
Great video tho.
LIKES TO THROW THINGS AROUND
Way to much work for that filter
Wow, half car uninstall just for cabin filter.
