I kinda wished that for the return of DMP they used Ballroom Blitz for the end but the song they used is good too
they could bring it back next year! they usually rotate the songs
I definitely feel like they have upped their game with the choreography, these monsters are insanely talented. I've always wondered what casting directors for the Dead Man's Party look for when they cast these vibrant performers because it has been a dream of mine for a long time to be able to perform in this show, so if anyone has any advice on where to look for that or advice in general regarding Dead Man's Party, that would be so appreciated!!
I hope one of the performers see this!
My favorite was definitely purple guy, (Cyless, Syless) however you spell it. I took a picture of him after the show, I waved to him, and he did this princess wave back and I when I tell you I freaked out I FREAKED OUT. I jumped up, squealed and dashed out of there. My friend told me he laughed after I ran. So embarrassed 💀

this was our first time going to new jersey for fright fest, we usually go to new england! this show was fantastic
It's definitely a big favorite for the locals! Glad you liked it!
I do sometimes wish they'd just keep in the real classic songs like "Bring Me To Life" but man was it a great surprise to hear/see Meet The Creeper/Boogieman again after so many years. Also they nailed an excellent performance for "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)." That other new one was pretty meh though the story-telling part and the alterations to "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody" made it the best they've done that last song in my opinion. Overall a great return and on opening night for me I expect to see it not be 100% yet but they were certainly very ready. Never heard everyone cheer that much either, given there wasn't that many people there that day. We all needed the return.
Oh I can't wait to go see what the event is like in a couple weeks when they're at 100%

@@acecubano2634 True, but cut the family level and actually make it scary. I'd be fine with this chopping the haunted walk throughs in half as well, too many all in one place anyway.

Why is the voice audio the exact same from 2013, 2015, and 2019 in the songs DeadMansParty, Ramalama bang bang, Meet the creeper, NoOneLivesForever, and A little party never killed nobody. This is an entire new cast
they rotate the same group of songs each year, with maybe one or two new ones added

It's common for them to rotate the songs each year iirc. Many of the songs came from previous iterations of DMP
