    I personally loved them Paul. Great iem! I love the small size of it.
    Also that replaceable filter is quite nice, hope we can see new filters from where in we can change the sound a bit.
    Great review as usual Paul 😄

    Probably my best budget IEM, better then Wan’er and Hola atleast. Build quality and solid cable are nice.
    Tips don’t matter as much as I use Spinfit W1s on them and others.
    Sound is good, bright, clean, fun. Can’t complain for the price.
    Good sleep buds or to chuck in a bag and go to the gym or something.

      You have picked up enough budget sets to cover the basics. Take a break, enjoy the music for a bit, see what Moondrop does in the next few months.

      @@PaulWasabii Thats the plan. Hoping they continue with this refresh of IEM's and make a Aria 2 or Kato 2 and still waiting for the Blessing 3 Dusk whenever that drops.

    Metal shell definitelly have a good sound impact to the chu2. Driver is definitelly of better quality than the 7hz0, waner, QKZ×HBB and others. It has flaws in the tuning, yes a little bit. Still noticeably better than the aformentioned 20buck iems...

    • @matusjurcik6974
      @matusjurcik6974 Год назад +1

      Between you and me Paul, that tuning flaws can be upgraded by nozzle mods, vent mods also aftermarket cable and tips helped...I know you are quite familiar with these techniques 😊

    • @PaulWasabii
      @PaulWasabii  Год назад +1

      Yep. I will always admit that there are some sets that sound better to others than they do to me. EW200 was a recent one also. On the other hand, I probably liked Lan more than others.

    They make a great throw in your pocket iem for taking to work though tbh. Small, light weight, durable, and cheap. Imaging is really good for what stage it's got to work with...shame they didn't tune the upgraded version of this driver in the starfield 2 good. Cause there was pretty good potential with that driver

    • @PaulWasabii
      @PaulWasabii  Год назад

      Yeah, that is where the Lan is the odd set. That driver is quite good and Moondrop has plenty of nice drivers.

    • @PaulWasabii
      @PaulWasabii  3 месяца назад

      ZSN Pro 2 has a bit of extra treble energy so it will sound more resolving. Not by much though

  • @MrAgrimkohli

    I have just started my Audiophile journey. I have Chu ii and like its sound tuning for Hiphop. I appreciate clarity and tonality but high treble is no go for me. What IEM you can suggest to Chu ii upgrade specific for music only.
    I have listened to Truthear zero blue, not a good iem for music. KZ zsn pro, too much sharp. Fiio JD1 Jade audio, similer to Chu but good for movies than music is what I think. Vocals are centric Forward, which I think is good for movie dialogues.

    • @PaulWasabii
      @PaulWasabii  4 месяца назад +1

      Before you buy sets, make sure you are getting a good seal with the tips or try foam tips. Chu 2 shouldn't be that bright. Moondrop's Lan was basically the upgrade but if you don't like Chu 2, probably not going to like Lan. Truthear Hola was probably another option which is now replaced by Gate which just came out today so not sure if it is better or not. I will say, its hard to know if you are treble sensitive or bad fit. Bad fit will sound bright and sharp.

    Dear Paul, would you pick Chu 2 over Krila?

    • @PaulWasabii
      @PaulWasabii  Год назад +2

      Hmm, tough one, as they are both a bit thin in the treble. Chu 2 has a bit more bass. As a general use set, yes I would pick Chu 2. If you are looking for a cheap very almost analytical set/more technical sounding set, then Krila.

      Yep, KZ is pushing even lower prices and there is always a market for entry level sets. They just don't get as much attention as people move on down the rabbit hole.

    • @PaulWasabii
      @PaulWasabii  10 месяцев назад +1

      Wan'er is almost the middle of those. HBB is for bass people, Chu and Zero are close, for people who like it a bit brighter in the treble

      KZ D-Fi, Tangzu Wan'er, and Kiwi Ears Cadenza. These are general, slight bass boost Harman style. Starting points to figure out what you like.

      D-Fi and Chu 2 are closer. If you like it slightly brighter, Chu 2. Both are nice sets, D-Fi has switches which will let you try variations on bass.

    • @PaulWasabii
      @PaulWasabii  Год назад

      There is no definitive answer on that from me as I don't get condensation issues on any set, even Olina. If you have experienced that issue previously, then its likely you will see it again on metal shells. The removeable nozzle tip will make it quite a bit easier to replace the filters.

    CHU 2 or KZ ZS10 PRO X?

    • @PaulWasabii
      @PaulWasabii  10 месяцев назад +1

      Problem with those two, I am not sure you are gaining much with Chu 2. It will sound different as it is only 1DD and that might be more appealing to you. Ultimately, if you like KZ tuning, good chance you won't like Moondrop. It goes the other way as well.

      @@PaulWasabiiHello, thanks for responding. Honestly, I'm new to the world of headphones and don't know much about it. I started with TRN EMA, then switched to TRN MT4 based on my own intuition, and even though I know they're not the best, they left me very satisfied. But now it's time to upgrade, and I'm undecided. I have a budget of $30, and I'm considering the KZ ZS10 PRO X; they're at a very good price on AliExpress right now. However, I'm not sure if there's anything better for that price.
