Excellent job Lucas. I’m a 72 year-old newbie to wood carving, I live in Alaska, and have ready access to all the cottonwood bark I can carry, lol. I’ve done about 10 Wood Spirits and everyone that sees them really likes them but they’re not where I want them to be. My goal is realism and I want to see that person in the bark looking out at me. This series is exactly what I have been looking for and I will buy every tool that you have recommended in this series. I want to make sure you’re compensated For your work, as you are a master, both has a wood, carver, and an instructor. I greatly appreciated the way you did this series and I know that my next Wood Spirit is going to come out much better. Thank you for a job well done and tell me how to buy the schaaf tools so you get credit for them.
Thank you friend. You are a good instructor and pleasant to follow. I’ve just purchased the Schaff tools and started a carving. Ive always had a hard time with carving the nose and finally found your instructions which helped me a lot.
Enjoyed this series so much! One of the best wood spirits ever and to do it with just chisels! WoW! You made it look easy and explained things really well.
@@SchaafTools Oh thank you. More large statures like the one of Saint Claire, the gentlemen carved before would be great. Just got the 12 and 7 Schaff sets and they work great!

I found this series very helpful and interesting. As a novis carver I learn from each artist. Thank you.

Glad you enjoyed it Dan! Is there anything you'd like to see in the next series?

Awesome series very helpful 😊
LOVE IT ANY MORE FOR THE FUTURE
Hey John, definitely more videos planned for the future. What type of lessons would you be interested in seeing?
they could do perspective carving videos from start to finish and talk about lighting for working at night recommendations thanks
you are the master
Lucas is awesome!
Awsome
good work👍
Thanks ✌️
I am a beginner carver. Will you be posting any more new videos?
No. Schaaf outsourced their production and now makes garbage. Theyll just continue to ride their old reviews colabs
Very nice work Lucas! Can you tell me what you are using for a light source? Looking forward to seeing more from you.
Hey Randal, I'm not sure what Lucas uses as a light source, but you can get in touch with him on IG @Lucaskostcarvings
