I can tell that you feel each of those intro guitar rifts. Metal fan for sure. I have the same reaction myself, feel each of those guitar notes hit a place in my soul that is so pleasant. Love the reaction!
Two songs I would recommend by Citizen Soldier are “The cage” and “Sacred”. Or if you’re okay with softer music, maybe “Always December” and “Would anyone care”.
Throw a dart at the playlist - you can’t lose! Like how your starting to pick up on their lyrics. Every song has a purpose. Each video has a short summary from the band on the inspiration of the song/ lyrics - read first then listen. Good reaction.
To me this song is like that moment when you look in the mirror at the unreal image of yourself, created not only from the naysayers IRL but also the cancerous voice in your head that is always an infinite amount worse than anyone else ever can be, and you decide to finally fight back against it. The old saying 'we are our own worst enemy' is kind of like a prelude to this song, and by the end of which is the clear sky after the storm when you suddenly realize your whole future is right in front of you waiting for you to just take that first step towards it.
Lead singer name is Jake. Another good one by them is Let It Burn also Caroline.

Yeah another Citizen Soldier reaction, I think you will like "Thank You For Hating Me" - it's not the heaviest song but the meaning is 🔥
