Nothing More is forever in my debt for saving my life from suicide by their music alone. It's crazy ever since I discovered them during their self titled album in 2015 i was in a dark place in life, and Jenny was the song that helped me through it all. On top of which, they've written lyrics that 100% hit home to me, so its like they're making music for my life. Regarding this album, I still need to give it a full listen to, but I do love Freefall and Stuck.

I listen to a lot of Nothing More and thought it would be a head banging mosh pit album because of the singles they released. I had to slow my roll after a couple of listens and try to find another part of my brain to appreciate what’s there. Stuck and Run For Your Life complement the first two singles making for some great sounds! Jonny, do a remix of Petra’s Shakin’ the House next - full circle!

I also enjoyed this album. Especially the back-half of it. There were also a lot of good Alan Watts quotes in the interludes as well. Favorite Song: Run For your life Favorite Interlude: Sight The transitions on this album were phenomenal as well, for example in the beginning of the album from CARNAL to House on Sand, I felt made it [House on Sand] more heavy.

I think with some time - it will grow on you. It definitely did for me... now having had it on repeat for several days, I think this is an amazing album. Albums are more than one song, for me the experience of the whole album, the story and compositions are just on point and some of the best album writing I have heard of late. Moments like Heart going into Down the River are just stupid good. Open a show with those two tracks would be gold. I think the more I listen to this album the more I see how brilliant it really is. In a world of singles and bands that only care about riffs and breakdowns - Nothing More is tapping into our souls and shaking the trees. I LOVE IT...

Freefall - you said reminds you of something. It reminds me of switchfoot "meant to live"

I guess It's kinda difficult for bands to please us. They experiment, make something new, sound different, people hate it, take Wage War for an example. But when they sound the same, people will call it generic, boring, sound the same, etc etc. Nowadays, I appreciate more the bands that sound the same. Rather than changing the style, and we end up getting disappointed and missing their old style. Wage War's new album is a big no for me, and it makes me really appreciate Memphis May Fire and other bands that sound "the same"

Man, I can hear it in your voice how much this song hit. Such a beautiful song. I’m really glad CARNAL had so many unique and experimental songs for Nothing More. It allowed us to get so many unique and beautiful songs.

Good album overall i think. Ngl the ending minute of the last song is straight up menu music from like Saints Row 4.

Whilst I enjoy the album, the biggest issue for me, is the singles released were such massive bangers, my expectations had grown significantly more, so that probably hasn't helped. Spirits is my number 1 favourite album from them so far, but do really enjoy this one too.

After a few more spins, i think instead of 7, i would gave it an 7,5 out of 10 now. Positive: There is actually no bad song on this and the time still flies by everytime. Also the feature songs are all great, maybe even the highlights of this album. Negative: But also, it seems like they put alot of work into these features, but forgot to define the rest of the album. Every non single song feels "Chorus focused" and i miss the details from SPIRITS. Im actually a fan of interludes, but on Carnal they stop the flow somehow. At least for me. You already explained it at the end there. Why not ending the album with Run for your Life? Wasted potential, because this album could've been another easy AOTY banger. Now its a solid album by NM, which isnt a bad thing either. Lets be honest^^

down the river was easily my favorite non single. it’s so simple yet so catchy and emotional.

For me I actually loved this album a lot! For me I just felt like this whole album was so amazing at world building. Unlike most I love all the interludes and I think listening to those along with the rest of the album just creates such a unique atmosphere. I think the ending of the album was really cool and I have a feeling it'll transition to the next album.

Agreed. I'm a DIE HARD NoMo fan, and just kind of felt... Like it could have been refined a little bit more. Granted they had I think 4 years to work on Spirits, and only 2 for Carnal. But I agree with House on Sand giving me a different expectation. I thought the album would be more in my face, and heavy. I just think my expectations were wrong. And the more I listen to it and just accept it for the album it is, the more I love it. Out of their 5 albums though, I would put it at number 4 as a whole album. But a couple songs shot their way up very fast to my all time favorites by Nothing More.

I listened to it today for the 1st time. I felt the songs like I always do with them. But since I only heard it today, I’m sure it with only sound better with time. Spirts is a 10/10 masterpiece for me. Not one bad song off that one.

I found this Band through my spotify release Radar when i randomly had the Spirits single in there, had it on repeat for a few months when i found out there was a whole Album to it. Fell in love with the Band after that

The rethym by scratch21 is really epic and beautiful

I fking love the transition from to drift like a cloud and flow like water to the riff which fully captures the feel of that sentence

*Full disclosure* When I say “least favorite” don’t get me wrong, I still REALLY enjoy the song. Just out of the album, I enjoy this one the least. Which I think just goes to show how good the album is!!! 🤘🏻🖤

“EXISTENTIAL DREAD” is Nothing More’s equivalent of “PANDEMONIUM” by NF. It mixes a whole ton of different styles into one song. It definitely is a song that needs to grow on a lot of people, and you know it’ll go absolutely insane live.

This one has become my favorite of the album, and one of my favorite songs of all time. I’ve never really had a song like this that allows me to express anger from what I’ve dealt with, and this song does it so well. The delivery on the chorus especially captures that. The lyrics, the vocals, the half-time towards the end. There’s just so much about this song that I love. My favorite lyrics have to be the pre chorus: You talked me off the ledge Just to push me off a cliff So no one else could have me You fed me lies and kept me sick

This was one of my favorite songs on this album. Don't know if you caught it, by the way, but the drummer, Kyle, is a left-handed drummer playing on a right-handed kit. I've got a massive amount of respect for him especially for being able to do that, instead of using a left-handed kit. I just really like that he's learned how to make it work and that he has that versatility. I like each of the members for their own stuff, but that's what I like most about Kyle.
